SALMAN ESMAEL

The place was great and the coffee was one of the best coffees that I tried. Also the staff was friendly and respectful. Highly recommended!

Best iced vanilla chai I’ve ever had. The barista was friendly and gave us good recommendations for hiking in the area.

The place is really cute inside, but even better, is the coffee. Their coffee beats any of the chain coffee houses and we always stop when we're in the area. The even have an area in the back to purchase used books.

Adorable little coffee shop. Young lady was an absolute pleasure to chat with and was really knowledgeable of the things she could make and alter. Got a "London Fog" which was steamed milk, earl gray tea bag, and added orange vanilla syrup and lavender to it. It warmed up my spirits after a long weekend of camping. Side note, she was also new more of the area than a park ranger we asked earlier in the day.

Great experience at Appalachian Coffee House..Keep up the great coffee and atmosphere.

Friendly staff, great coffee, vegan options, and they sell used books. What else could you Ask for? I ordered a maple amaretto oat milk latte with an extra shot and all I can say is 'delish.'

They sell some excellent roasted beans. Small sitting area in the back with reliable Wi-Fi, but not a place for remote classes or meetings because it’s overall a small place and grinders, conversation, etc can make it loud (this has nothing to do with the star rating). Their drip seems always to be Honduran, which I don’t love, and their machine doesn’t do it justice. Would be nice to have options for straight coffee that do the beans justice, like pourover or aeropress. Also would be nice to have a high octane light roast on drip. Food options are very sugary: my kids wouldn’t finish a cinnamon roll because it was too sweet. Would be nice to have savory options too, and while I’m dreaming, a no-carb option like a premade soufflé that can be zapped in the microwave, like Starbucks’ egg bites. That would make this place the best option for a quick healthy breakfast in a 30 min radius.

I was driving through the area and saw their billboard and decided to give it a whirl; I always check out local coffee shops when visiting new places and I was not disappointed! When I entered I could hear a good Christian song on and received my order in a timely manner. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The coffee was spot on also! My only "gripe" is the parking lot but that's not a complaint - just an inconvenience.

Cute place, location easy to get to, enjoyed chatting with the barista, and my drink was spot on - lavender hot chocolate, light on the sweetener.

Amazing!
Peppermint Hot Chocolate was perfect.
Sweet but not too sweet.
Hot but drinkable
The building also looks nice and the staff was nice enough to point this traveler in the direction of food.
