Bubble Fish

If I were reviewing this place a half a year ago, I would have given it four out of five stars… Unfortunately, I now have to give it a one because zero is not an option. I ordered a classic milk tea with almond milk and extra Boba. I essentially received slightly opaque sweet tea with small undercooked pearls. I asked them to remake it as I could hardly taste any milk in there, and they said oh that’s just the almond milk and has nothing to do with us. They remade it, and it was essentially the same underwhelming overly sweet tea.

Go on Amazon, buy boba pearls in bulk and make it at home. We normally do that but we got lazy today... instant regret.

I deducted a star because it seems like the water they used in my bubble tea wasn’t good… tasted like chlorine and i’m pushing through the ability to drink it. regardless, this is the only boba shop in morgantown that consistently has properly cooked boba. Everywhere else i’ve gone the boba is either over cooked or undercooked.

The worker that was said she was going to become a bartender was super nice and packed my drink. Give her a raise

The first time I ate here, just now, I'm stuffed. 5 out of 5, would eat again. Next time would just be a regular bowl, the large bowl is more than I should've got

My wife and I have been here multiple times over the last few months, and it is consistently high quality. We always build our own bowls. The sushi rice is great. Tried the brown rice once, and it was... brown rice. Bowls are much better with the sushi rice. Tried a couple Boba’s, which are also always good. One of the best food options in Morgantown.

Update: In light of COVID, this remains one of my favorites in Morgantown. I get food from them 1-2 times per week. They were closed for a short while, but reopened with new protective shields and procedures. I have never seen staff with masks off or under the nose. Masks are required inside. Food quality has remained the same. Brown sugar milk tea is excellent. They have delivery options, but I usually still order online through their website to avoid the extra fees and pick up my food. Food is always ready when I get there. Consistent 10-15 minute turnaround time from placing online order to walking out the door with my food.

This review is for buble tea. TK was closed so I came here. I got black bubble tea and it was good like anywhere else but nothing special. The cup is tall but it only equals a medium size. Barely any pearls in it and the price is as much as in New York city lol

Food was fresh and delicious. I also got the thai tea with milk, very tasty. I would recommend.

Food was wonderful. It takes a little while to make the food.

Mango smoothie with bubbles is my favorite. I’ve got it 5 times already in the last week 😬 create your own Poke bowl was perfect! Hubs loved it too

My wife and I go regularly for Boba teas and Boba smoothies. Staff is really nice, wait time and prices are reasonable, and the drinks taste great!
