The Joe

Very friendly staff and the atmosphere/vibe of the place was relaxing and comfy. A great place to chill and unwind or get your studying on if your a student. I highly recommend The Joe to anyone.

Did a pottery class tonight with my wife, and had a ton of fun. I definitely think we'll be trying again.... especially considering it was tougher than I thought it would be to make an attractive mug.

One of the best additions to Fairmont I can remember. The folks there are awesome. They are friendly and helpful. And the people being the best part is pretty impressive once you try a cup of coffee or have a great local beer. The Cowboy Caviar is good too!

Absolutely awesome place with plenty to offer. Great coffee, local beer, and great activities. We just got done making our first clay mugs and we couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Carol was more than willing to be hands on when needed and let me destroy things to learn a lesson.

I wasn't sure if I would love a pottery class (I'm not very creative), but it was amazing. Carol and Mike were excellent teachers - they were patient, but kept things moving along at a great pace. And they had samples and templates and idea-starters for beginners like me. Live music was playing in the next room, and they had a great selection of beers on tap. We went with a group of 8 people, and it was a perfect social event. Would definitely do it again!

Love this place!! If you're coffee obsessed like I am, and have to have it every day, but you only like espresso-made fresh coffee, this is the place.. I only wish they would expand their menu, like their location in buckhannon! A good variety of Soups, salads, sandwiches.. even burgers would be great!!

My family and I are visiting the area from North Carolina. We really enjoyed the coffee shop. The cold brew (black) was amazing and my husband loved his Red Eye. The Breakfast Sammich was GREAT. I also bought some pottery (mug, candle and a bracelet). What an incredible find in downtown Fairmont!

Really enjoyed our experience here! Relaxed in the cafe before our pottery class. Carol was a lot of fun and a great teacher. We had a blast working with clay and want to come back with the kids.

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. My latte was delicious, the staff was so nice, the sugar cookies are amazing, the interior is so cute, like every thing about this little shop is awesome. I adore Joe n Throw and hope to visit again.
