Best coffee shop in Tacoma. Great espresso quality, unique building and environment. Very friendly baristas. Intimate environment that is great for engaging conversation. Good location close to Wrights Park and the Stadium District. Tons of parking on a corner lot. Highly recommended!

The owner is personable and great. The service is always amazing. Cosmonaut is punk rock In every fiber of it's being. Cosmonaut is an experience. It's the truest local coffeeshop near me. Support your local stores, give Cosmonaut a try. I think you will enjoy it.

I tried this place just the other day (December 2019).

Pat (the owner) was really cool, and he was very meticulous about his shots, resulting in the best latte I’ve had in Tacoma. And I’ve tried many of the popular places.

This is my new go-to spot. Hands down.

It is not a bad coffee shop much better than the chains but there is only room for a couple people to sit even preCOVID and they do not roast their own coffee. We have had hit or miss service but usually they are very nice. I have been here 5 or more times and none of them have been bad.

Always friendly familiar staff and great snacks! My personal favorite is the chive & cheddar biscuits.
My go-to drink is a warm matcha latte float (with oat milk) with cold vanilla ice cream on the bottom🤤.

best coffee in Tacoma by far. don’t usually leave reviews, but the actual quality of the coffee is incredible and to good to not say something. the vanilla syrup is also premium (a must try).

My hemp milk latte was perfect and the service was great! Friendly and personable, it’s like your good friend is making you coffee and damn perfect job doing it. Definitely my new coffee spot in Tacoma.

Welp, I spent 2-3 days hopping cafes all over the puget sound and this one is the coolest I’ve seen. The decaf shots are super delicious. I really appreciate the “please pay cash” vibe. The theme is super cool. I totally bought too many of their cool stickers. I asked the Internet for the quirkiest cafes in the region and I spent 3 days searching. This was my last stop, and my favorite stop. Please go here and give them cash.

Truly the best espresso I've had in many years. Took me back to my barista days.

The vibe here has an atmosphere of its own. I wouldn't go here again but I don't regret my time there. I would suggest you come with cash because they sell some good items, even chocolate and beans! The staff and the decorations are kind. Please dont dig too deep about the parking because it may get full and street parking may or may not be easy to get. Just be patient if you have a car.
