Very friendly. Clean and nicely decorated inside. The cold brew is among the best that I have ever had. Prices are fair. I will be back!

Campfire Coffee has several distinct things that make it excellent.
The one that you won't find anywhere else in Tacoma (let alone Puget Sound to the best of my knowledge) - fire roasted coffee!
While the majority of the roasters in North America and Europe use gas fired roasting methods, Campfire Coffee eschews fossil fuels in favor of wood. The beans, in turn, take on a different flavor both from the fuel and from the small roasting variations. This makes the resulting coffee have a richer, fuller flavor that does well to temper milk drinks or sweeter lattes.
Without a DOUBT Campfire Coffee also happens to have the STRONGEST coldbrew I've ever had! Folks needing 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning might get by on a SIP of this!
Beyond a unique and notable roasting method and cold brew that could wake the dead, Campfire Coffee is welcoming and has one of the friendliest and most personable owner/operators I've ever had the joy to meet. The effort and purpose that Quincy has put into Campfire shines through in all of the various food and beverage offerings. I have yet to have a drink from here I haven't enjoyed thoroughly!

Very different and unique flavor which is why I gave it five stars because they created their own niche in a heavily saturated market. I will say it is an acquired taste but doesn’t hurt to try and support a local black owned business.

Super cute coffee spot with friendly baristas and a great atmosphere. The food and the drinks are really good. I love working here in the mornings.

Espresso and cold brew were SO good I must review! Always a smile to greet you and an inviting atmosphere for waiting or enjoying your food and drink... I was in town for a week and cannot wait to return again!

I like this place, but the acoustics are awful and everyone inside is yelling! There’s actually a sign that says “use your outside voice do we can hear.” I’ll try to post a video.

They have a few outdoor tables (we’re i am now) but it’s cold out at 9am in October. Doors are closed and I can still hear the yelling.

I need to find a coffee shop that’s not in a new / all concrete and steel building.

Delicious coffee and breakfasts. Good promotions and deals from time to time. Love the atmosphere and theme. The owner I met was awesome and all the employees I run into are very helpful and chill. Definitely recommend! <3 Wish they were open a little later in the day!

The best coffee shop in Tacoma! They roast all their coffee over open campfire which gives it such a deep and delicious flavor. Also their duo cups are a genius idea!

Campfire Coffee has been our go to coffee place on Downtown Tacoma since 2020. The service, the food, the coffee - all of it is wonderful. This is a must visit location.

I really wanted to like Campfire Coffee. It’s almost a great cafe. Despite the laidback campy-trendy atmosphere and the decent coffee, the campfire coffee company lacks efficiency and organization. The staff seemed unable to cope with the large, but not unreasonably sized crowd a Saturday morning brings. Parts of orders were forgotten (not just for us) and there was no clear way to see who the upcoming order belonged to (we accidentally snatched a latte from a couple with a similar order). If the management is reading this, I suggest assigning a name or number to each order to keep it organized.

I think I’d come back again, just not on a busy day.
