Had a wonderful lunch with my girlfriend. I had a yummy bowl of corn and bacon chowder, along with great coffee. Staff is very friendly, and service was fast. We'll be going back again soon

Love the coffee and home baked goodies!
The staff is very helpful.
Gluten free items to eat too!

Went there with friends for coffee and dessert after lunch on a weekday early afternoon. It was crowded and smoky like something had burned in the kitchen. We would have moved to a table outside but it was too cold in January. Glad to see they are popular and doing well but it wasn't a pleasant atmosphere on that day.

The coffee is good, also the chai latte, but higher priced than elsewhere. It can be purchased by the bag as beans or ground. The bagged coffee is the same price in stores like Country aire in Port Angeles. The food is overpriced and not always tasty. Seems to try for mostly organic gluten free. I am not a big eater, but they serve small portions except for desserts. The soup is a very small bowl and not always a popular flavor. The day's special can be sold out, so get in early. Long wait for orders. Standing in line is the only way to order, and customers going to the restrooms have to push past the line. Staff is rushed. Crowded seating. Lots of tables taken up by wifi users. I was in there for lunch one day when a customer let her 2 toddlers run loose with food dangling from their mouths, but staff ignored it. When an order is ready and set up on their counter, they don't call it out, and sometimes it was taken by mistake by another customer. Not a good ambience and noisy from poor acoustics, very short hours. I stopped visiting and now go to other coffee houses in the area for more peaceful dining. Indoor restrooms. They have added more outdoor tables, mainly used by smokers and pet owners. When there is entertainment, it's mobbed and over crowded inside and waitress service is very slow.

The frittatas are delicious if you want a warm breakfast. And the pastries ... I just tried the cream cheese frangipane. Perhaps the best gluten free pastry I've found. How often do you bake these? I need more!

Great coffee, bakery, breakfast and lunch spot.
They roast their coffee on site. I could tell from the amazing aroma of active coffee roasting wafting into the street from this wonderful Cafe.
The pour over coffee I had was fantastic. Perfectly crafted from a fresh, medium-roasted blend of several beans.
The bakery items were fresh and very delicious. We ordered a breakfast burrito. It was delicious.
The flatbreads we saw others had ordered also looked great.
I wished we loved closer to Sequim. I'd be at Rainshadow Cafe a lot!

Cute little coffee shop and lunch spot off the main drag in downtown Sequim. Our chicken quesadilla and turkey pesto sandwich were both excellent. We managed to avoid the temptation of their pastry case but holey smokes all the baked goods look incredible. Bonus points for mask policy and sanitizing the tables between diners. Kudos!

Four of us went for dinner after the Christmas parade and had a great experience. Our waiter (Trenton) was very personable, attentive and made the experience even better. All of us loved our burgers and agreed we need to go there more often. Sequim is lucky to have this restaurant and I hope everyone will patronize them to make sure they are here for a very long time.

For the same price or less than a corporate coffee chain, you can get some out of this world coffee and amazingly delicious, fresh food! Why would anyone go anywhere else?!
Rainshadow Café is a great local café and a favorite of mine anytime I'm in town. They have amazing breakfast bites, and their coffee is always delicious. I love their collaboration with local artists; the café itself feels like a little gallery, with lots of unique art to enjoy.
