Old fashioned, cozy and a great place to sit outdoors and enjoy watching the folks pass by. Interior is a delight, particularly the original, historic banister. To top it off, staff are gracious and happy to make you feel at home.

It’s ok. Just basic American sandwiches and salads.

Food was excellent, but it cost us over $22 for two sandwiches. I feel like $14-18 would have been fair. Still, the staff was friendly and the sandwiches were great.

Can't hold an item that I'm allergic to?!
I rarely leave negative reviews but it was pretty shocking to find that a vegetable I'm allergic to couldn't be held on a $9 sandwich because, as I was told, all of the vegetables are pre-grilled together. Not even an option to grill up the other vegetables fresh? This has to come up somewhat regularly and find it a little odd in a day where there are many people who have food allergies.

I had been here before and had liked it enough to return, but when I arrived at 8 am on a Wednesday morning, they hadn't opened yet even though they were supposed to open at 8. I called them up and asked if they were going to open today and was rudely told by a man that they'd be open as soon as they were ready, which would be in about 10 minutes. I therefore waited, but when a woman finally opened the door and put out a menu board, she didn't even acknowledge me. I walked to the counter and she stepped behind the counter and proceeded to write on a chalkboard on the floor, still not acknowledging me! I waited a few minutes (still being ignored) and finally walked out and drove to the Bayside Restaurant, where I actually received courteous service! While I had waited by the register at the Courtyard Cafe, I was astonished to read that they were soliciting donations so that they could buy a home in Port Townsend. I can't imagine that anyone would want them as neighbours! Rather than put down roots in Port Townsend, these self-entitled Millennials would do the town some good by returning to where they had come from!

Nice breakfast place. I would rate it 3.5 stars if I could. Outdoor seating is good, but if its windy, sit on the back deck. Food is OK.

My favorite place in PT! Delicious baked treats and savory goodies. Yummy sandwiches, quiche, soup, etc. We like to eat outside, and the pup is always welcome and treated like royalty.

Worst service we have ever received. The owner/our server was a pretentious and inconsiderate jerk.
The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the food was good... despite the fact our order was messed up and no one bothered to check up on us to ask how it was.
Prices would have been fair had the service not been awful. A little surprised this place is still in business.

Fabulous! Fresh food! Wonderful pastries! Courteous service! A must go to!

I like the people, and the food, home-style open mic on the second Sundays 1 to 5 if you care to share your family friendly tunes , or listen to an eklectic mix. Home made bread and pasteries.
