The Courtyard Cafe

If you're not in any hurry then this cafe is great. Clearly a labour of love, with a homey, family vibe set within a lush garden. Lots of patio to sit along the front, side or back of the building. Breakfast was made with fresh ingredients but for many patrons who came late to breakfast, found they had sold out of potatoes as well as some other tidbits. Self-service coffee is nice for refills but the area is a tight spot get to and mugs were scarce. A definite tranquil spot to sit outside, listen to the birds and enjoy a home cooked meal. (The men's room offers a nice view if having a sit down, while the ladies' room is eclectic. Photos added here.)

The Egg Salad Sandwich was huge! Enough for a second meal! And the Clam Chowder, well worth the wait! Great local light flair.

I had a great sandwich and homemade cookie. The owners are very kind and welcoming, too. It was nice sitting out on the deck in the sun. This is a great place.

The staff is awesome. I am never disappointed in my selection. If you are hungry this is place to go. They go to extremes to make sure you are happy. They are pretty busy at lunch time so you may have to wait in line but it is well worth it.

The best of best food you will ever have!!! My wife and he friend love this place so so much. Talk about she scream when the food comes because of how delicious it was. Our favorite place to eat when we visit Port Townsend.

My favorite, long time favorite, always good. Big sandwiches that we like to split and share a ceasar. We live the club and the Monte cristo with the chipotle jam. This is a nice place to bring kids and a good spot to sit on the patio and people watch

First time here. Maybe something else on the menu is good but don’t order the triple decker club unless you like a bread sandwich. 2oz turkey 1 small slice of tomato and one lettuce leaf for $11

Good selection, fair prices, nice ambience, patio seating as well as indoors. Why three stars? Bread was a little on the dry side, otherwise great place to eat.

My husband & l were celebrating our 22nd anniversary & decided to stop in & have lunch. It was a great experience! Everything was perfect! The food & service were excellent! 💕

Really amazing sandwiches and pies. Loved everything here. The Reuben was delicious and the raspberry cream cheese pie was out of this world good. Highly recommend.
