The Courtyard Cafe

This place is FABULOUS! My husband and I found this place in October 2019 on our anniversary, and came back in October 2020. We will be back more often, to sample all the goodies they have to offer! But we love to split a tuna sandwich! 🥰

Ordered 1 sandwich and 1 croissant while waiting for the next ferry. Took more than 35 minutes to make those, we almost missed the boat.

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. I ordered well done eggs they came out wet. When i asked for them to cook longer the waiter/cashier guy told me "she only cooks them that way" I finally convinced him to take them back. He brought them back 3 minutes later, hands me the dish which was very hot and I burned my hand on and walked away. He microwaved the eggs, because they were in the same place on the plate and the pepper I had put on them was not disturbed. He was rude, dismissive, the food was barely adequate and the price was too high. I recommend finding another breakfast spot. Horrible service and food not so great.

Very impressed with the food here. We stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. Biscuits and gravy were bomb and bacon was perfect. It's an adorable little place with outdoor seating too.

Great place for nice sit down or take out lunch. Sandwiches are superb and the salads can be almost two meals worth. The brownies are scrumptious. Can get pretty busy during tourist season.

Excellent little spot for a sandwich and a beer. You definitely want to try the beer cheese soup. I enjoyed the BLAST.

This place is highly overrated. THE FOOD should be reported to the Health Department. My parents both ordered the fruit salad which was a sad fruit salad at best. But the worst part of it all was that my father realized the fruit was covered in a think layer of bacon fat. It was in huge clumps at the bottom
Of the bowl.

When I went to the front to show them they barely cared and didn't offer a refund. I plan on reporting this incident to the local health department.

Sure is one of the causes of the cleannlyness issue. HIRE more people. Your staff is overworked and your food and service is negatively effected because your clearly cheap.

This is one of my wife and I's fun places to have a special lunch and / or snack when we are in Port Townsend. We love this place and the owners are wonderful folks who work so hard to please their customers an support the local community. Hat's off for a fine dining establishment that merits a finer review than I can possibly put into words. Trust me ! You will not be disappointed by the great food and exceptional service.

Perfectly made simple yet delicious sandwich. Good service. Cute atmosphere, plenty of seating. Large enough to split to have a lighter lunch. Very well priced.

Always consistent high quality, fresh ingredients, fresh vegetables and fruits, decadent pastries and fast friendly service. Awesome breakfast and vegans are welcome. Quaint setting, outside or inside. A Port Townsend must! 😁
