Been to Courtyard 3 times and each time it has been a disappointment of one sort or another. We have either been told that "special" they had on the board outside was a breakfast item and it is now lunch so breakfast is no longer being served (OK, so what would it take to change the board outside) or it has been poor service. Last time we went there was Friday 7/14. When I asked for eggs over easy with my biscuits and gravy they said they only do scrambled eggs (weird). My wife ordered a waffle. It took nearly 40 minutes to get our breakfast. When it did arrive my wife took two bites of the waffle and said it was so tough she could not eat it. The gravy was good but my biscuits were terrible - like they were left over from a few days earlier - couldn't eat the biscuits. Also, my wife ordered bacon with her waffle and they delivered only two slices of cold bacon for $3.50 - rip off. Needless to say we will not be eating at the Courtyard again - terrible food at unreasonable prices, not very attentive service and too many other very nice places in Port Townsend.

Excellent food! Friendly staff. Plan on a wait to get your food (but the wait is totally worth it!). Tuna sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and honey baked ham sandwich were all amazing.

What a great time I have, every time I visit this place. Their food is always on point. The one thing I did experience this time was the poor customer service we received today. We sat outside and the waitress/waiter was nowhere to be seen as it wasn't busy, but the tables needed picking up...... I cleaned the table off and moved the dishes to the corner of the table thinking that when the food comes they can just grab the last patron's dishes.
When our food arrived the person didn't acknowledge our presence really, and was leaving. I decided to ask if they could take the rest of the old dishes away. They said, "I am not the waitress so I am not going to take it." I have never experienced such a weird customer service issue until then. I will always love this place, but I will take a break, and hopefully they will have happier crew next time.

Beautiful Victorian cafe in Port Townsend. The good was absolutely wonderful!! I am gluten intolerant and the offered gluten free bread for the sandwiches. I had the B.L.A.S.T. which is the best BLT I have ever eaten in my life!! The desserts looked yummy, but there were no gluten free desserts left when we got there. I will definitely come here again and I heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Thought this place sounded good, cute little place. Ordered take out and ordered a cobb salad with NO Feta. Got to Propolis to enjoy a beer with the salad and it was LOADED, AND I MEAN LOADED with Feta! The bacon was fresh but extremely salty. My Balsamic vinaigrette was 95% oil (don't think they stirred before poured in the cup). Pieces of romaine where cut/broken were the old rust color. Tomatoes were anemic! The best part was the boiled egg! Won't be back.

Great food. However the staff was likely stressed and the dude at the counter was super grumpy. Also having to walk like 3 blocks to wash my hands was annoying especially with the we are fully open in the rest of the town.

Great cafe in a quiet courtyard just off the main street. Their coffee was excellent and their london fog was the best we've had.
Went for breakfast. The scramble was flavorful and delicious. The quiche was outstanding: wonderful flaky crust with a rich filling. Either would be an awesome way to start your day.
COVID procedures are in effect: one way passage, outdoor ordering and seating (didn't check to see if indoor was available). Felt safe and clean.

This has got to be my favorite restaurant in Port Townsend. I get the Twisted Cristo sandwich every time I go here and I am never disappointed. This cafe has the best sandwiches I've ever had, and great pastries. Perfect place to go get lunch with family or friends.

So glad we had a chance to eat lunch here. We were undecided and almost settled; then chose this wonderful homey cafe for lunch. The soup and salad was fantastic. A comfortable and reasonably priced meal for a family of 5. We all found something on the menu and everyone enjoyed their meal. Will come again the next time we visit.

Good food, charming and convenient location, but apparently understaffed. Excellent bacon, but your eggs will only come scrambled. The toast will be delicious, but you just get a dab of butter in the center: the rest will be dry. I would love to be a regular customer, but, they really need to up their game.
