This is a Long Beach staple and a real pillar of the community. I'm updating my review to reflect my new opinions as a resident. This bakery offers a wide range of desserts, pastries, breads and even deli options like sandwiches and local foods. They're open early and have wonderful coffee and are well worth a stop if you're visiting. Unfortunately, if you're vegan they do not have vegan pastries but dairy free coffee is always an option and the sour dough bread is great for sandwiches.

I don’t normally write reviews but we just loved this bakery so much! They have so many pastries, it was difficult to choose. We tried some of their coconut cream pie, sugar cookies, and strawberry racetrack pastry. They all were so delicious! But what really made this bakery stand out was how sweet the lady working the register was. Next time we are in the area we definitely will be back.

I love this bakery! They have so much to offer. I live in Astoria and we do not have our bakeries anymore since Danish Maid and Home Bakery have left us high and dry. I don't mind the drive over to Long Beach to get what I need. Today it was delicious treats for our hard working custodians before the first day of school!! (and a loaf of jalapeño cheese bread for me!)

A must stop everytime I'm visiting Long Beach. Great selection of baked goods and cooked food. Can get busy at times and the more popular items can go quick.

This is THE place to go in Long Beach. Coffee, donuts, pastries, cakes, espresso, and biscuits and gravy!!!! The best hours of operation in town and the story about the sweet girl it is named after will have you smile and cry. The staff here are absolutely wonderful human beings. They are mostly mature women that understand customer service and they work very hard to meet the demand of a horse of tourists. I don't tip at coffee joints, except here; it's that good.

Good food. Friendly staff. Only complaint would be that it was a bit smokey inside and it seemed like they been burning toast for about twenty minutes. Our pastries were good though. Recommended

This is hands down my favorite bakery anywhere. The cream cheese croissants and florentinas are my go to sweets here, and their sandwich menu offers a wide array of breakfast and lunch options. Open at 4am so come in first thing, bring your friends and family and enjoy one of the crown jewels of Long Beach!

Friendly staff. Great variety. Reasonable price. Pleasant surprise for resort town.

Dylan's has a great selection of pastries and pies. In the summertime, it is tough to get in the door. They are very busy, but well worth the wait. In the fall and winter, the place is very quiet though strangely you will find just as many goodies. The staff is fun, friendly and helpful. The bakery is a classic for this coastal town.
