The best bakery and deli in town also has some of the best doughnuts I have ever had. The blueberry cake, bacon maple bar, and the buttermilk bar were all excellent. The cake doughnut is on the lighter side, but delicious. They have tap to pay now too, and the prices are so reasonable!! 👍

I don't know if I have anything to say about Dylan's that has not already been said. It is a delightful place and one we return to every time we visit Long Beach. If I'm honest, it's probably why we love Long Beach so much (perhaps an exaggeration, but not by much). The people who work here are friendly, efficient and caring. The bakes goods are out of this world, and we get sandwiches from their deli regularly. They pack very well for a hike. We often drive down to Cannon Beach for a day trip and gather most of our supplies for the drive down and the hiking here at Dylan's. They have what they do down to a science and I couldn't be happier knowing that this place exists, survived the height of the pandemic, and seems to be thriving. Thank you for spreading the joy!

The French breakfast sando is a hefty helping of yum. Just what you need to start your day. I added bacon to ham and it was perfect. My wife had the Spanish sandwich, and loved the cacophony of veggie bits baked into the biscuit. This is a must try bakery, doing it right!

Great selection of baked goods. Has a bit of an old Americana charm to it. Was very busy with regulars when we turned up which speaks highly of it.

I can’t speak to the deli but on a recent trip to Long Beach, we stopped twice for pastries and enjoyed them immensely. While neither of us were impressed by the “racetracks” , we both enjoyed the Maple Dogs ( think maple bar filled with Bavarian cream). The selection is extensive so I’m sure that they have something for every taste. Located on the main tourist drag in town, it was busy on both stops and appears to be popular with tourists and locals alike. When looking for a sweet treat, stop by this impressive bakery.

Deli is great. Pastries were poor in flavor and texture. They are dense instead of light and flakey. The fillings are non-traditional. Used date paste in a bear claw instead of almond paste. Strange flavor.
Cakes looked good. May be worth a try.

Absolutely amazing bakery! They actually take the time to whip their bavarian cream (on their devil dog) which is insanely rare. You need to have the ham and cheese croissant or you'll be sorry. If you're anywhere near Dylan's Cottage Bakery and your don't stop, well then you're failing life.

Small town bakery with all the big city choices.
It's about donuts and good vibes here!!
I got mochas, breakfast sandwiches and donuts for 3 days straight, no complaints.
Get their Dylan sprinkle donut. Promise your inner child will thank you!

We always stop here when in Long Beach. Very extensive bakery! They have a deli too. So many delicious options here! Bread, English muffins, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches. Delicious coffee too! A definite must stop!

Absolutely fantastic. You cannot go wrong with anything ordered from here. Very helpful and friendly staff. My girlfriend has childhood memories here for a reason and we passed some down to our child today. I will stop here every day I spend here, now and in the future.
