The food is standard greasy spoon, American breakfast food. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the Belgian waffle. Both were good and the staff were quick however, there was only one person working inside that was wearing a mask properly. One lady had her nose sticking out which makes a mask useless and the rest of the staff weren't even pretending. No masks on at all. That in itself was disappointing that they don't care enough about their patrons to take the most basic precaution. Unfortunately it was also somewhat off putting to be in a dining room that was decorated with very religious imagery and decor. Barbed wire crucifixes, "blessed" signs and bad Christian music felt a little too overtly forceful a choice to be ignored. When I go to a church or temple I expect and can appreciate religious decor and music. When I'm just trying to eat breakfast it's inappropriate. If I'm interested in your religion I'll ask. If you are an evangelical Christian you may find this atmosphere pleasant. All others may want to eat outside or maybe just somewhere else.

Food is tasty but the staff is unbelievably awesome! Best service we've had in a long time! We sat on the patio and they took great care of our pups with water on a hot day as well.

Can't recall what this is called, but it's a loaded biscuit with hash browns, bacon, eggs over easy and gravy. Best. Breakfast. Ever. We enjoyed their waffle yesterday but this one takes the cake. Best bet for breakfast in Leavenworth.

Waited 45 minutes for chicken and waffles, only to get two pieces of sysco deep fried chicken and an almost burnt waffle. It’s the most expensive thing on the menu, and probably costa them $1.5 to make. Service was great, but what a disappointment. I guess you don’t need standards when you’re in a tourist town.

My sister and I had breakfast at Louie's Cafe. It is a very cute restaurant. I had the french toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. My sister had blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. The food was cooked to perfection. The coffee was excellent and hot. We were both extremely pleased with our breakfast. The waitress was very friendly and checked on us throughout our meal. We would highly recommend Louie's Cafe.

So disappointing! Saw the good reviews and thought we'd stop in for breakfast. The staff was nice, but untrained it seemed. The worst part was my food came out cold and the biscuit was so dry and old tasting!

I would definitely return here again. The food was good. Staff were nice but kind of dry.
I didn't give a 5 star because my coffee with whiskey and Bailey's was apparently $16 which is a bit much for nothing fancy. Also other people who came in after us were served their food before us and nothing was said to us. We were the first to be sat outside so everyone came after us and at least 2 tables were eating before us by 5 or more minutes. I am not complaining but it seemed odd since we ordered right away and did not order anything unusual.
Still I would easily come here again for food but save my money for drinking.

I saw the ratings for this place so we were excited to give it a try. We were really disappointed. The service was fine and the server was friendly but the food really wasn't very good. It's basically Denny's. We had 5 different dishes and all were bland and uninteresting. The coffee was the same. Skip this one until they rework the menu and put real food on the menu.
