J5 was very delicious! My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised by the coffee here. For a small town, we didn’t have high expectations of coffee that wasn’t bitter or over extracted, but J5 did a great job! The shots were smooth and chocolatey, and paired well with oat milk. Temperature of steaming was perfect at about 135, it didn’t scald your tongue and was able to be enjoyed right away. Thank you for being a friendly and adorable spot, J5! Baristas worked for efficiently and served us with joy. While waiting, there was fun small business truckers to browse over. No place to sit, but walking around outside on the less crowded streets with the drinks were just delightful.

Great tasting roasted coffee. Ordered the Salted Caramel and White Chocolate Iced Latte. Baristas are friendly in a cute local cafe. Wished they had one in Seattle.

We tried the apple cider, coffee blossom and coffee bourbon. Their coffees are rare and delicious. Not over roasted and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend them if you're in the area.

Great experience overall! Coffee quality - 5 stars (delicious!). Service - 5 stars (super friendly staff). Decor - n/a (walk up window). Prices - 3 stars (I expect to pay a lot at Leavenworth but $5 for an 8oz latte is pretty steep).

Despite it being a Tuesday, they are open. Espresso is great! It is a window order drinks and pickup. No inside seating, as the pics suggest. There is plenty of outdoor seating in the sun to enjoy your coffee.

I have been missing my local cafe and then I discovered J5. Wow! Super smooth espresso. They do their own small batch roasting and are clearly putting the effort in to get top notch beans. Friendly and prompt service as well.
They have beans for sale, single origins as well as their espresso blend. I’ll definitely make sure to buy a bag or two before I leave town.

This was a nice surprise. We got an americano and a chai at the small stand and it was fantastic. It was so good, we got a bag to go and it is just as good in a pour over at home.
