While the kitanda bread is as delicious as everyone says it is, I am extremely unhappy with the overall experience. I am gluten free for medical reasons, and was extremely excited when I found this spot. While ordering I asked if everything in the case was gluten free (no ingredient or allergen list posted), to which the cashier said it was. I ordered multiple items out of their case. A few hours later I started to have an upset belly and cramps. I've called, with no answer, and the voice-mail referred me to email them. I emailed, only inquiring for confirmation if their other items were gluten free or only the cheese bread rolls, and they have yet to respond. Finally, I logged into door dash and found that many items don't specify being gluten free, so I can only assume the items I ate were not.
Thankfully for me after a couple days of not eating gluten my body will go back to normal. But some people have it much worse, and this misinformation straight to their face could be devastating.
And on top of it, I ordered an iced americano and they gave me a Chai. The wait was so long I didn't have time for them to fix it.

I'm drooling from the memory of the Kitanda cream cheese and turkey sandwich I ate. The bread/bun was amazingly light and fluffy on the inside, but crisp on the outside (no false marketing here!). I also tried the coconut mozzarella cheese roll, which I wouldnt have previously thought would go SO well together!

The acai bowls are absolutely Exquisite! However the customer service left a lot to be desired. The two people working together during the time of the service didn't get along very well! I don't think they should bicker in front of the customers

Had to drop my car off at Les Schwab down the street and was SO happy to find this gem while I waited! My husband and I ordered the Romeo & Juliet cheese bread sandwiches which is something we never tried. It has guava paste and fresh mozzarella between cheese bread and it was AMAZING! We had to try the Brazilian Latte and that, too, was delicious! Great atmosphere, a lot of locals hanging out watching soccer while they visited and ate their goods. Very highly recommended, we will be back!

We love the great coffee, acai smoothies, coffee shakes and gluten free cheese bread and the super kind and professional employees who served us. Definitely adding a stop on Google maps on our way to or thru Kirkland.

I come here for the Brazilian coffee, and an occasional bun (the sweet cheese-filked bun with coconut flakes on top is my favorite).

A very cute little place! They have delicious açaí bowls! The portions are pretty big! They also have yummy other foods! We will definitely be back!

Only been there once so far, but had a nice time! My drink and bread were tasty, and had a pleasant experience with the staff.
I ordered a kitanda bread and Cuban espresso, which I asked to be made iced. The cashier took my order, but the Barista called me over and kindly asked if I'd ordered the Cuban espresso before, which I had not. He gently explained how it was usually prepared and let me know that, while it wasn't a drink that usually comes iced, he'd be more than happy to prepare it however I wanted. He also offered to make me a different drink instead if I preferred. I told him to make it hot, as is the standard preparation, which he did after double-checking that I was going to get something I actually wanted to drink. I appreciate the effort that he went through to ensure that I knew what I was getting and that it would be something I'd enjoy, without making me feel dumb or like I was being an inconvenience. I'll be back!

My husband and I were quite disappointed with this place. As Brazilians we truly appreciate and support any Brazilian business, however, we’d like to point out some potencial improvements according with our experience. The first thing that bothered us was the cleanliness of the restroom. It was dirty and very unpleasant to use, specially with kids. Second was the lack of friendly staff, which is a nice and natural Brazilian characteristic. If you are Brazilian or if you have ever been in Brazil, you probably know what I’m talking about. The third thing is quite simple. They don’t have any highchairs. And it can make a costumer’s life with an active toddler very difficult. On the other side, the food itself was good and made us remember our native delicious food taste! We also like the great selection of Brazilian industrialized food available, such as seasoned tapioca flour, our “cream cheese” called requeijão, etc.

Super friendly staff honestly really good coffee and I could probably live off that cheese bread for the rest of my life. It is a must try Brazilian experience.
