Any time I need to go to Totem Lake area, I always make a deliberate trip to Kitanda to get the best coffee ever. Coffee is excellent, all the baked goods are wonderful and delicious. It is extremely easy for me to buy way more than I will eat that day.

It's really a hit or miss kind of place. I was there several weeks ago for cixinhas and some coffee and they were excellent. Today, I was there to order the Brazilian coffee and ham&cheese for myself and a latte with two hotdogs for my son. Both of the two hotdogs he ordered were missing the sausage and my coffee, in comparison with what I'd get at Starbucks, was way below average. I don't know if it's because we were there before it was about to close but in any case, today was the "miss" day. :(

Their espresso is awesome, made with Brazillian coffee. The little cheesy rolls are also something to try for sure. They make tiny pastrami sandwiches with them that are awesome. Acai bowls are also always good.

Service Brazilian speed..
But the food makes up for it.

LITERALLY THE BEST. I am so addicted to their acai bowls-specifically the Energy Blast that I order it at least once a week. IT IS SO GOOD. Even when I order from Door Dash/Uber Eats, it is not melted and perfection. Tastes high quality. I also love their Brazilian lattes, and the Brazilian cheese bread is fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Please don't expect to spend less than 30 minutes waiting even for a small order. It's definitely not a place to stop for a quick bite. The food is good.

It's been one of my go to coffee spots for over 10 years now, they can get pretty busy but this location is pretty fast.
Brazilian latte, cheese breads and acai bowls are pretty addicting, everyone of my friends and co-workers that I've brought food for from here for have made this a regular stop for them.

Cute place with good food. Staff were super friendly, the place was clean and everything was fresh and warm. So glad to have discovered this place.

Come for the acai bowls, but don't sleep on the breakfast sandwiches. All fresh ingredients, and a great way to start your day.

Fantastically made Brazilian breakfast or lunch eats. They have a small "general store" area with local Brazilian foods as well. Everything made using the kitanda bread tastes rich and flavorful. The acai bowls were a treat on a warmer day here in the Seattle area. Definitely a tasty visit!
