The Human Bean

My go to coffee shop closed recently so I tried this place. I got my usually coffee order but from this place it cost me 5 extra bucks, and all I got was a 32oz iced latte with two pumps of flavor, which I don’t believe 2 pumps of flavor is enough for 32oz but I can’t afford to have a 13$ coffee to get more pumps. I think this place is very over priced for not that great of coffee. Seemed clean and nice employees though.

Have mercy on my soul! Easily one of my favorite coffee spots. Nice service and real tasting smoothies! I recommend strawberry... They always put delicious little coffee beans on your drink! So so so gooooooodddddddd!! It's also by a little mexican meat market (which we go to a lot for our meat) so yeah! Great spot for coffee.

Stopped by The Human Bean for a Caramel Granita (+2 shots) and a Grasshopper Biscotti. Both tasted awesome if you're a fan of starting your day on the sweet side!

The Human Bean is significantly better than the Starbucks on Clearwater/Ely.

Ordered a cold brew last time all ice , ordered a blended pumpkin 1/4 whipped cream. Crazy they charge 10 bucks for this. 👎

I love this place and their rewards app, I give them a ton of business but they more often than not mess up my order and when you’re paying $7 for a coffee you would like it to be what you ordered

It never fails to lighten my mood after practice. There smoothies are amazing and everything else I've tried is great too!

I have never been charged that much for my drink! I am a regular at multiple human bran locations.. Usually the staff is kind and personable.. Not today... The young lady didn't even say a word as she handed out my drink and walked away from the window, signalling the end of my transaction. Thumbs down...

I am not one to leave bad reviews, but I have had it with this location! The last 3 times my husband and I have been here something about our order has been wrong. I am done giving my money to this Human Bean location.

The first time wasn’t too bad; they just made 1 sandwich instead of two so we waited for the second to be made. They apologized and it really wasn’t that big of a deal.

The second time my coffee had cream in it which, when you are lactose intolerant, is not a good thing. Also, my husband got a breakfast sandwich and the center was still cold and partially frozen.

We stopped going for a while because it isn’t worth paying such high prices to not get what you want.

Well, we tried again today. This is the last time I will ever go back.

The girl taking the order clarified a number of things about by husbands drink a couple of times (which I appreciate… if you didn’t hear it or need clarification please ask). We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, an iced latte w/ flavor and an iced americano. The sandwiches were tasty. That’s where the good ends. The gal made my americano hot (I’m not a fan of hot drinks). I let her know I had ordered it iced. Instead of remaking it she poured the hot americano over ice. For those of you that don’t know… Americano water comes out at 220 degrees. So all the ice melted within 10 minutes. Also, an Americano has a certain water to coffee ratio… all the melted ice made the drink taste like dirty water. My husbands drink was correct, but had so much flavor he couldn’t taste the coffee. I can’t try it to verify because it has milk in it, but he knows what a latte should taste like.

Long story short… I will not be going back.

Dirty chia here is sooooooo good.

This is my new favorite coffee shop! I’ve tried the “snowy” white chocolate mocha and SF vanilla latte. I don’t like a lot of sweetness and these two drinks were perfect - not too sweet and very smooth coffee flavor. They also have breakfast sandwiches and the egg muffin tasted homemade. Love supporting local:)
