I try to stop by every time I pass by Cle Elum on the I-90. Tasty baked goods, solid coffee, and loaves you can take home. Super affordable, too.

Bakery with NO CAKE options? The pastries are nothing to write home about and it’s mostly donuts so call it a donut shop!! Really doesn’t have much to do w “bakery” pretty disappointing

My family and I love this place. We live in Renton and anytime were out this way we stop by. We also take day trips just to get donuts every once in awhile. This last time my daughter and I came here was especially special! We took her two months old son here my first Grandson to get donuts!

This is a bakery full of heart. Amazing if uneven quality of goods. A warm and inviting atmosphere. With attentive, friendly and helpful service. Definitely a stop off point on I-90. Patrons are usually talkative. The maple & chocolate bars are the thing.

I've been going to the Cle Elum Bakery since the early 1980's. Their maple bars are my favorite, as well as the cinnamon rolls with maple frosting. Their bread is good too, and they have a bunch of local products, such as honey and jams. I like to stop on my way through town, or on the way to our cabin, to re-fuel with some good coffee and buy breakfast goods for the next day. Every time I've visited in recent years, the place is packed, and the employees have always been friendly. I love this place!

Why does it say Cle Elum Bakery when the pictures are of Owens Meats? Good stuff in the shop, but if you come by before hours and try to use the vending machine outside be prepared to battle. After 5 minutes of trying card or cash I left dejected and meatless. Guess I'll have to go by only during business hours? Still worth it though.

I've been going to this place since I was a kid in the 80s. Their cookies are great and their cinnamon swirl bread with nuts is delicious. They used to put more "syrup" in the swirl bread and you could put a slice in a toaster upside down and let it seep down into the slice. Still five stars though :)

Decided to have a leisurely day of reading and sipping coffee. Make the good choice to pick up some coffee, donut, and Apple fritter at the bakery.
Really friendly staff, awesome selection, and to be honest the best prices around.
10/10 would recommend!

We just stopped here on a whim during a Roadtrip just hoping for the standard bakery fare, but we were BLOWN AWAY by their donuts, old classics mixed with a large variety of experimental flavors & all that we tried were delicious! We actually left wishing we had gotten MORE donuts for the road. We do this drive often & will definitely be adding the Cle Elum Bakery to our must-stop list.

Great little slice of Cle Elum history, with a wide variety of pastries. Nice little tables to sit at, too. Unfortunately, they only have outdoor port-a-potty bathroom, which seems cruel in winter... Also wish they carried even one gluten-free option, and dare I suggest... Kombucha?
