My son absolutely loved this place ^_^ it’s about a 40min drive from where we live BUT would definitely come here again ^_^ staff is friendly ^_^ I can see my son from basically any seat while I have my coffee. There is a smaller area for kids under 2yrs old which I truly think is awesome. The bigger area for the older kids is hectic but fun. Lots of ride on cars, pretend food, blocks and so many different toys. Only thing that I wasn’t a fan of was how messy everything got 🤣😂🤣 I guess I’m use to the children’s museum where there is more staff picking things up throughout the day. But overall I do recommend.
Very nice place! The owner is very kind and my 1.5 year old daughter had so much fun. There are a lot of different things to do. They have a pretend ice cream shop, dolls, toddler bicycles, pretend food market, trampoline, construction zone, and etc. Highly recommend for the price ($7.50 per kid) and atmosphere!
Great addition to our community! Nice to be able to see the kids easily from any seating. The owner is just super sweet and remembers all the families. Great place to grab a lotus or coffee and study while the kids play.
Looking for great coffee and a place for the kiddos? Mad Hatter cafe is the way to go! I just got the pumpkin pie coffee here and it’s amazing!!! Forget pumpkin spice during fall coke try the pumpkin pie 🥧 flavor 10/10 recommended!! 🤩🤩 Also bonus kids will be occupied while you can enjoy your drink!!
There first day was today so naturally I gathered my daughter and went to check it out. Who wouldn't lol. Coffee and a safe play area for the little kids. Sounds good to me. They charge 7.50 a day for one kid to play and sell non skid socks so the little ones don't slip and fall for 2.00 a pair. They have so much for the kids to do and even have a area for 2 and under kids to play without getting hurt or ran over by the bigger kids in the larger play area. They have anything thing from bikes to a store teller station for the kids. My daughter loved it and was sad to have to leave. The only thing that is a bit sad but understandable is they only let kids 6 and under go in there to play but since we in lewis county dont have anything like this for the kids to play at thats not inside its not a big thing to overlook. The bigger kids have so many places outside to play at so it makes sense. Also another good thing that they put in is a lot of options to sit down and relax while being able to keep a close eye on your child.
This place is great for kids all ages, tons of space, plenty of toys. People here are so nice and friendly good drinks too. My daughter and niece had a blast definitely gonna be back. 10/10 recommended
Such an amazing space created here for children and their parents. A happy , safe, atmosphere with so many sensory activities for kids. My little one is 15 months, and hasn’t had the chance to interact with other kids around his age. I don’t have roots here, it we are trying. I learned about it and went to check it out the same day. Couldn’t be more thrilled! My little guy had so much fun, and so did I. Thankfully, it was not overwhelming with tons of kids just running around and parents checked out on the sidelines. The parents were all very relaxed, able to mingle, work or just relax, while being completely present for their children. Rules were respected and the kids all seemed to really enjoy themselves and each other. Also, I loved the coffee and all the snacks available.
I really am so thankful to have this available near by, and at such an affordable price. It means this place can be a regular outing for my son and I now, providing us the ability to grow in our community, socialize and learn independence.
I LOVE this place, I only wish someone had thought of creating such a place a lot sooner. I love that I can bring my kiddo here and she can either go play with herself in the massive play area or I can jump in and join her. The collection of toys is really awesome and appeals to a wide age-range, this is a great place for parents to come take a break or to get some variety in play time
Listen, it's not a restaurant, it's got good coffee and snacks and drinks enough for the children. Think latte for Mommy and animal cracker bags for the kids, so that's the only reason I didn't really rate the food. It is exactly what we all need in rainy WA, though, for kids. We came with a few kids from 2 to 10 and a 23 year old disabled and developmentally delayed "kid" and they all had great fun. There's quite literally something for all of them. And my husband was happy to play excite bike quarter machine and use the massage chair. Us moms drank our coffee and watched the kids play. It was just like an indoor park but actually easier to watch kids at since it's all one central room and there's no where they can be away from supervision without walking out of two gates and right past you so that was fun.

I was complaining we needed a place like this. Indoors and well lit place for kids of all ages under 12 to go play with others.
Hatter is well staffed and clean. The toys are in good condition and there is a ton for my 2 year old to do.
The themed rooms are cute and it reminds me of the children's museum in Olympia.
We have a membership and my wife takes my son all the time. It rains and he needs to run, this place provides. It's that simple.
I hope in the future they expand the hours to Saturday.
Check it out, you will love it.
I'll update with pictures at some point.
