Vault Books & Brew

We loved everything about this bookstore/coffee shop. The decor was great, they offer real espresso-based drinks, and there were so many books - new and used. Lot's of cute gift items, too.

Located in a cute little area where you can park and walk around. I wish we'd known about it ahead of time so we could have planned more time here.

Great bookstore with a progressive vibe and the employees were so welcoming to this out-of-towner. Spent hours here and bought a lot of great gifts.

Always a fun place to stop for an icecream cone and find a new book to read.

Fun little local place! Good coffee, good bagel breakfast sandwiches, a small book shop, and cool history--it was the town bank for decades (see photo)!

It's as much of a coffee house as it is a bookstore. (They also sell ice cream.) Their coffee was especially tasty. I spent a couple of quiet hours relaxing and looking over my bike maps and browsing the internet on their free WI-FI.

The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing and very welcoming for any group or age, including children. In fact, there is even a playroom for kids (in the former bank vault), but the children I observed were plenty happy with their ice cream and books.

Wonderful cafe! It used to be a bank and the family redecorated it from start to finish. It’s perfect for a coffee break or to pick up a new book. Try the peppermint patty drink!

We stayed in Castle Rock, WA for two months and Vault Books and Brew quickly became my favorite "hang out." Not only do they have a good selection of books, but they also have good coffee and treats.

Did I mention all of the eye candy? Oh my, the walls are filled with delightful quotes, artwork, and novelties. There is not a location in this building untouched by creativity. In addition to quotes, the shop is filled with novelty items to fill not only your house with, but that of family, friends, and neighbors.

The vault itself was also fun to view. It is a neat old building, being well loved and cared for by its new family. Great venue Jennifer. Thank you for being an excellent ambassador to Castle Rock. I hope to visit you again in the near future.

Fabulous local bookstore with an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are avid readers, avid coffee fans, kind and funny humans, and you can send your kids into the converted bank vault to play in a wonderland of toys. Ask them for recommendations and they will provide you with just the book you want to cozy up with!
