Waited and waited for my food, when I asked about my order, they checked and said it hadn't been inputted. No apology for the bad service. Staff all have frowns on their faces. Food was okay when it finally arrived.

Aww man, so impressed. Sausage gravy better than my grandma’s (sorry gma). Everything was as good as it could have been. Our table had eggs three different ways and they were all phenomenal.

We made reservations for 8 and we were all blown away with the quality of the food and the wonderful service. Every single dish was absolutely phenomenal - the duck was incredible, the scallops perfectly cooked, the mac and cheese to die for. Nikki was kind and approachable - she came over to check in on us and thank us for coming in, then personally brought over a round of drinks on the house when she realized we were celebrating my husband's birthday. What an unexpected joy and a stellar dining experience! We will definitely be back.

When I arrived it was a feast for all your senses. The manager at the cash register when I was there. Greeted me with a warm Welcome. I told her what I liked and she made it HAPPEN! The turkey and Swiss panini was hot, fresh toasted to perfect. The side salad was fresh and delicious to. When I was leaving this blond haired woman came out and wished me safe travels on my trip. I will ways remember the love she showed me.
THANK YOU! My trip was safe.

Great experience, great food. Do recommend the club panini.

Great coffee and delicious breakfast sandwiches! We got the French Toast latte and Chocolate Salted Caramel latte which were both great. The breakfast sandwiches were yummy and filling. Can’t wait to stop by on our next road trip down 81!

With reservations made, we arrived a few minutes early and were quickly seated. They had been expecting us— water already waiting at the table. The cocktails (Chairman & Peach Blossom) were delicious and carefully crafted. The ribeye, duck and scallops (!!! creamy like butter) were out of this world. We had heard good things from the locals, but the quality of this dining experience was entirely unexpected. The service was top notch— attentive, warm and inviting. There was an air of small town charm as some of the local folks knew one another and struck up conversations in passing. As far as the dinner experience, it is worth making the reservation—if in the area (or within driving distance) this place is a must try.

DREAM CUISINE IN THE SHENANDOAH VALLEY
My wife and I and one other couple stopped in for lunch at this highly recommended restaurant in the quaint rural town of Woodstock. We dined on gourmet sandwiches made with fresh bakery and fresh meat and vegetables from local farms. As a special treat, the new young owners, Chef Jose Arvalos and his partner, Nikki Grant, offered us fresh pastas, among the chef's specialties, typically served at dinner. These included a wild boar ragu, beet ravioli, and a unique mushroom and squash pasta the like we had never known anywhere before.
Don't miss an opportunity for a special dining experience at the Woodstock Cafe. Jose is a chef to be watched.

Food was ok. I had a Greek salad and it was olives with a bit of lettuce and feta. I ate as many of the green olives as I could and there are still 25 left. Waitress was unfriendly and tossed our food baskets down on the table without asking who had ordered what, or saying anything to us. Overall it was a disappointment at a place that has always been very good.
