Illy Caffe

Nice shop, we only had coffee which was great but the pastries and other food they offered looked great. Staff was fast and friendly.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by the manager on shift Chris but was really just impressed by the staff itself. What an awesome coffee shop!

Visited twice for breakfast, not cheap but ham & cheese croissant was good and the salmon bagel was great. Both ordered each time. Coffee was delicious

The place is adorable but the coffee is horrible. Definitely a tourist trap and a college Hangout. We found better coffee shops in Williamsburg this place hit the bottom of our list.

Too slow. Espresso tastes good, but the wait is too long.

Absolutely delicious coffee, perfectly roasted and brewed. Mochas, lattes, and cappuccinos are all excellent. Nice patio space is pleasant year round.

This is the second time we have gone there for a double espresso macchiato...first time I had to tell them how to make it. Second time I asked do you know how to make a macchiato and I was told yes. Went to get my drink and it was not made properly....either they are clueless or their training is bad. Starbucks knows how to make a macchiato....why can’t an Italian coffee shop?

Since I cannot respond to the owner’s response to my review.I am responding to you now. I am Italian and go to Italy every year to see my family..Macchiato means stained milk which translates to just foam on the top...not pouring milk into the espresso. I am very familiar with Illy and in Italy they make it the correct way. Maybe they adjusted your recipe for Americans.....

The stuff and drinks are great but only bad thing I can say is that the outside tables are dirty. Tables should be more clean on especially sunny days
