I’ve lived in Williamsburg for over a year now and have tried every coffee place I can find - illy serves the best latte! It’s also a great study environment; it’s typically a little quieter on the inside, and has great access to wall outlets to charge things

Great spot for a variety of food and drink options. The manager Chris is always pleasant and makes us feel welcome. Definitely recommendable.

Good food and drink, but extremely overly priced. 3 coffees, 3 cocos, 3 croissants, and 3 muffins for over $75? Definitely not worth that.

'm excited Hampton Roads has a Illy Caffe. My only wish it was closer to my house but I enjoy an expresso whenever I am in Williamsburg. There is nothing like being served a delicious expresso with great customer service. Great job Illy Caffe.

First, I absolutely LOVE their coffee. Hands down, no question to it they have amazing coffee. Every time I'm in Williamsburg I stop here, easily, twice a day and often bring others with me to try the coffee.

TLDR: Airport pricing, unenthusiastic staff, 1 hour table limit. In a college town... not a recipe for success.
I am not a coffee person, but Illy coffee is certainly a delicious force to be reckoned with. The coffee is good enough to be consumed black. The decor in Illy is mod and bistro chic. However the coffee and decor cannot atone for the ridiculous airport pricing. The place has an artificial atmosphere (with a "one hour time limit per table") and many of the overpriced pastries in the display are the same that could be found at small businesses nearby. I have been here 3 times to ensure my experience was not an anomaly and left dissatisfied every time. The staff was unenthusiastic. While Illy provides an allure for tourists and college students alike, unless one is visiting purely for the Instagram photos, it is not the ideal place for a daily cup of Joe.

I had a Frittata, Croissant, and Large Coffee; nice breakfast. Was charged approximately $17.00. Then I noticed on the menu a Frittata Croissant, so I asked "What's the difference". The response was nothing, just that you ordered it separately. So I changed my order to a Frittata Croissant and was refunded approximately $5.00. I feel I almost got ripped off.

Google is asking me how was Illy Caffè williamsburg (va). For my family and I was awful. Is not the first time when we've been there.we went back today because we love their cappuccino. And with the cappuccino we asked for 3 pastries. 2 almond 🥐and a donut with cream custard.all 3 were yaks. I'm sure they were from the day before. Were warms but hard .it's just a shame because we spent $15for those pastries($5each).we are not that kind of people that like to complain but for sure we will not going back never, even we really like the espresso and cappuccino.

The caprese sandwich was awful. 2 thin one inch pieces of mozzarella cheese. One teaspoon of sundried crushed tomatoes and one teaspoon of pesto. The 2 ladies were on their their phone's appeared bother by customers.

I am a regular and usually have a good experience. However today, there was certainly a lack of professionalism with customers and I have noticed this occurs when management is not present. My best experiences here were just after it opened. Staff seems stressed and un enthusiastic. I hope for better customer service next time and more positive interaction.
