Solid choice for those looking for a coffee fix. It's right in the middle of Colonial Williamsburg, so its a good stop for those on a day trip. They also have a rather large selection of baked goods and snacks, so lack of variety is never a problem.

I love this place. It smells like a French patisserie, and, if you are so inclined, they also serve wine. There will be a line, but it's worth the wait.

Really good coffee (I had a cappuccino) but the pastries are a bit overpriced. The spot not terribly atmospheric but fine to sit for a coffee (outside was a bit too hot at the time).

Pretty generic overpriced cafe if you ask me... we got 2 croissants and 2 plain coffees for $20 and the drinks tasted VERY watery and the croissants were warm, not hot. For as much as we paid, bummed it wasn't better.

I'm very familiar with Illy coffee. I used to buy it often to make in a moka pot on the stove in the common European fashion at the home. I always loved their coffee as far as a store/market purchase. This cafe elevated the Illy coffee experience. It looked to me that they have very nice, high end commercial espresso machines. This resulted in very high quality espresso shots. The cappuccinos were outstanding! Their espresso was very balanced. Not bitter, and it was naturally sweet with notes of chocolate. I was quite impressed with the quality of the Illy coffee and their equipment. It reminded me of coffees we have enjoyed in the northern areas of Italy like in Milan and Turin. Also, if you stay to drink it in the cafe, they serve it in porcelain Illy logo cups. This improves the coffee experience greatly over the grab-n-go paper cups that you typically see everywhere these days. Of course, if you need it to go, they can serve it that way as well. The pastries were very good. We had the ham n cheese croissant as well as a spinach croissant. They were fresh and tasty. They also sell coffee cups and many other coffee accessories with many nice designs and artwork. I hope they expand their cafes throughout the US. I was impressed with the coffee quality and their attention to detail. Enjoy!

Best Cappuccino I've had in the states! Period.

Great coffee. It is so difficult to find a good coffee is you are not in NYC (or other big towns). This is one of yhe best and real coffee places for the whole Historical Williamsburg. The staff is friendly. Ice cream is tasty. One can buy coffee for Nespresso machines there also.

I love making Illy espresso at home, so I loved finding this cafe in Merchant’s Square, Williamsburg, in October 2021. Delicious Italian espresso and you also can buy espresso and mugs in the shop. It’s adjacent to Brick and Vine, a beautiful Williamsburg home decor store.

Nice selection of coffee brews, fresh pastries, and food items. Great for a quick and delicious bite to eat.

Love it here! Cold brew was amazing and the boyfriend got an amazing alcoholic cider drink. I almost drank his instead of mine but we will be back!
