Town Center Cold Pressed - Virginia Beach Town Center

I dropped in to grab a quick bite and Americano before shooting photos nearby. The staff was friendly, helpful, and I received my order in a timely manner. The blueberry muffin was probably the best I've ever had and the Americano was great as well. The price is what you'd expect from a coffee shop like this in a 'town center' but not overly expensive. The dining room was cozy and clean and the coffee bar was stocked with everything I could need.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Virginia Beach and all Hampton roads. This place is my go-to for meeting up with friends. The coco mocha is my favorite, but their matcha latte is also delicious. Honestly, I haven’t ordered something on the menu that I haven’t liked.

I want to love this place, but after living on the west coast and have so much good coffee it is subpar. If you like the coffee shop experience they have that down. The bagels are good, but for all the boasting about New York bagels, the gluten free ones are Udi’s brand and that is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to gluten free. They taste like cardboard and cost extra. Still not the worst place and I would probably pick it over Dunkin’ so 3/5 .

This was my first visit here. The pistachio latte and the matcha oatmeal bowl exceeded my expectations. Very pleased and will definitely be back.

Town Center Cold Press is one of my go-to spot for healthy delicious food and drinks including good lattes. During this visit I placed an order for pick-up via DoorDash which is super convenient. However when I arrived I noticed they forgot a sandwich in my order which then took 10 minutes to make. This was on a Saturday at lunch time and they were super slammed.

On this visit I ordered the Avolox sandwich which is one of my favorites and reminds me of NYC for some reason. Also, I ordered "The Perfect Kiss" smoothie or "Smuice" which was so delicious.

As I observed, they did quite well with staffing and quickly making drinks. However, their customer service could really use improvement. All the employees there are young and dressed pretty hip. The clientele range from young Gen Z to Boomers. So it's a wide range of customers coming through for their delicious food and drinks.

A lot of people came in for pick-up and there did not seem to be clear signage for them to know where to pick-up so they end up interrupting the employees making drinks to see if their order was ready. I get the vibe that the employees are unhappy to be there or agitated by customers. I get this vibe every single time
I come here. I just keep coming back for the food and drinks. My recommendations for improvement: 1) clear signage on where to pick-up mobile orders; and 2) improved customer service.

Overall, I love the atmosphere. It's a great place to grab lunch and coffee with friends. I love their food and drinks. I do miss their warm bowls which was discontinued when they revamped their menu in 2020. Customer service could be better.

I ordered an iced chai latte, smoothie bowl and a breakfast sandwich. The smoothie and sandwich were fine, nothing spectacular. The iced chai was not delicious. It tasted more like coffee with spices in it.

This place is soooo good. Lots of healthy options that are delicious. I love their exotic apple pie smuice. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place!

So much love for this place. The Don’t Worry Be Happy oatmeal bowl tastes like a morning in Hawaii. I can't get enough. The smoothie bowls are all fabulous. I’m working my way through the menu. Yes, it’s a pricier fare, but consider the location. Download their app and get $5!
Their cappuccino has the best, fluffiest foam of any place I have found in Virginia Beach.
I have been several times and always find it to be clean and well kept. They offer a variety of seating for solo work, casual or business conversation.
If you get a chance, meet Paul, your cook. He has a heart as big as Texas. What a guy!

Not really impressed to be honest. Bathroom upkeep was not great (no napkins to dry my hands after washing them), the place has an ok menu and selection, but the cleanliness and atmosphere seemed a bit lacking. I don't dislike it, but I wasn't impressed at all.
