okay it's nice and I understand the fee to play a boardgame, but I genuinely think it should be $5.99 a table to play instead of per person. Added mandatory gratuity..I understand... It's just a bit pricey. Smoothie with no alcohol was $10. Sandwiches are $15

Waiters were nice, though.

Just uh. Two people... $104 ..

We stopped by for lunch. As we walked in a very friendly staff member greeted us and showed us to our table. And proceeded to explain the prices of service, how they are a tipless restaurant. It’s just called gratuity so you don’t have a choice. (I always tip 20 percent or more so no big deal.) we look over the beautiful menu with options for just about anyone. I order a Ruben and my girlfriend gets the hungry hippo. I have a root beer to drink and her a bold rock beer. The food comes out astonishingly fast. We eat out food and begin figuring out the game we selected. Everything was pretty pleasant. We finish lunch our game and ask for the check. 70 dollars was the total and left us feeling a little overcharged. The food wasn’t bad at all, but a 15 dollar sandwich should come with a side (not an extra 4 dollars) on a plate displayed nicely for a social media shot. The boardgame fee I feel should be adjusted if your stopping by for a quick bite and a game as a couple vs a group of people staying a couple hours. I’m inclined to give this place another shot with a group of friends for a night out, which perhaps is what this place is all about. However you can’t help but think if you come with a group of 5 or more the game fee would probably cost more than the game itself. All in all it’s a nice place, I feel it could do with an experienced chef to rework the menu. 50 dollars or more is pretty standard for lunch out these days, with increasing prices I feel quality should match.

This restaurant has the worst service we have ever experienced. The food was extremely slow to arrive and arrived at different times so that some members of our group didn’t receive food for over half an hour after others did. There is a $5.99 fee to play the games for every individual - not disclosed (we thought it was free to play if we ate). There were multiple servers that visited surrounding tables, but did not follow-up with us at all. The gratuity is automatically at 18%, which they also did not disclose at any point. The servers did not deserve a tip nearly that high. Overall, we will never go back to this place. They hide their prices, have terrible service, and should revise their overall strategy as a business in the food industry if they expect to do well go ing forward. It’s a better deal to buy your own game and door dash food… you’ll still be saving money. For just two people, we payed over $55 for food that was not even close to being worth that value.

The food is good but the best thing about this place is the atmosphere. It's a board game cafe that you can sit and enjoy playing games with your friends and get a bite to eat. They do many events like card nights, trivia nights and so on.

I first went here after joining one of their dnd groups. I love the environment and the staff is all nice and welcoming. My only wish is that the food was cheaper. The food is just ehh and I think should be more fast food pricing. I know I would buy more food if it was better priced. Would recommend this place and will go back.

You are certainly going to pay a lot but your aren't going to get a lot. They have a cover charge that they call a game pass. Tips for the servers are mandatory even if the server does a terrible job. It's basically bar food but they price it like it's fine dinning. When trivia time comes around they have rules to follow.
1. No cheating, cell phones won't be tolerated.
2. Do NOT question the quiz master.
He actually named himself the quiz master.
The owner is to cheap to replace beat up games that are well past their expiration date. Don't even bother talking to the owner, he's a young man that thinks he already knows everything.
The food runners are useless, when they bring your food, you can ask for something else, but they will just say that they will get your server for you and by that they mean your server will eventually come back around on their own.

Food was really good I got a ruben, flavor and presentation was very nice. The service is very good everything is very relaxed and just and joyful atmosphere. Great place, I wish I would have came here sooner.

Always a great place to be for board games and brews. I like coming here for the fun and the atmosphere. I hope they continue to thrive since I've been going more recently after checking them out on their opening a few years back.

It's an amazing little place, like Panerai meets local game store. Staff is super friendly and will teach you any board game they have.

GREAT BONES

few obvious improvements can be made to make this place a real winner,
A propper bar with a real liquor selection and a bar tender that stays in station , decorations should be more abundant instead of the blank "start up" atmosphere I feel that I am in , not being able to order a beer with salt and lime on the rim is a problem, the food was delicious, but the 18% automatic gratuity does seam abit abrasive due to the speed of service. The game board selection is great however the gift shop really takes away from the lounge and comfortable vibe that they are going for , the concept is very enjoyable however could use a slight push to make it a very easy 5 stars and a real weekly spot ,
Put a few tvs behind the bar and a console and a few controllers and boom , would be a Place like no other , a true enjoyment to spend your time and money at .
