Big Oak Cafe

Was first Saturday breakfast with family friends at big oak after hearing so much about it and we absolutely love the people and how welcoming and friendly everyone was! Food was great!!! The first of many visits to come!!

We brought our family of five to Prime Rib Night on Tuesday.! We were so impressed with the perfect seasoning of the prime rib, the size (oh, my!), the homemade mashed potatoes, the scrumptious gravy, the reasonable price, the way they sweetly and calmly interacted with our small children, DeeDee's hospitality, her staff (young but you wouldn't know it by their demeanor)! Everything! Made us wish we lived closer! Hubby said I wouldn't ever have to cook on another Tuesday night, if we did. Wish we'd have discovered Big Oak earlier in our vacation, because we certainly would have been there for lunch the next day. DeeDee, I raved about our experience the next day at the 2nd Time Around Thrift in Urbanna, and again to Connie at Attitudes Boutique (Kilmarnock). Your place should be packed breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Nice atmosphere casual eating, good food and service. Look forward to trying more of the menu items.

It was a great experience.. The staff was very nice and the food was great.. had breakfast with fried osyters and loved it will surely being going back.. Also very nice and clean.. Just wish they were open longer on sundays

We stop in every weekend for breakfast when at Bethpage. The food is so great, staff is delightful and the atmosphere is a joy. Will continue to patron the Big Oak.

Perfect! It is reasonably priced, the staff are amazing and the food is what you keep going for. I'm from the south and they have the best sweet tea I have ever had at a restaurant!
