Just outside Strasburg, VA, next to Shell and Star Market is the charming little Melody's Porch. Lots of coffee choices and flavors of ice cream. Ellie served up a great Americano coffee with a smile! Ice cream was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Very cool atmosphere with soft music playing, seating in the shade, and a pleasant smell of BBQ from the Star Market. I am looking forward to sitting on the porch enjoying ice cream this summer.
Very chill place, nestled in the hills and adjacent to the gast station. My kids and I stopped here on our way through Virginia to go to the mountains, and we encountered this place. They had to have to ice cream, which was generously portioned and very well priced (only $3.50 for two scoops!). Per my son. "It's AWESOME 😎 great music, good service, beautiful place, great drinks and food, definitely coming back 😀"
Great stop on a long drive to relax. Little area with books to read. I tried the espresso with ice cream and was blown away. Definitely recommend stopping here and will be returning with others to try the teas and other drinks
okay first of all- i’m OBSESSED with the aesthetic of this place. it’s so comfortable and relaxing. it has a lot of seating, and it’s pet friendly!!! I always order a caramel iced latte everywhere I go, but when I go back, i’m definitely trying more items. they even have bubble tea, which is on my list! the staff was super friendly and personable also. 10/10, will DEFINITELY be back!!
This is definitely one small business that needs a shoutout! Melody’s Porch is a cafe, creamery, and coffee shop put together in a very unique space; let’s just say that everything is outside with nature by your side. Besides the coffee and specialty drinks; they also have boba as a option! Another positive thing to mention is the most convenient gas station right next door! This is a excellent pit-stop for long road trips; and the outdoorsy and mystical overall theme is picture perfect for a flawless social media hotspot!
Stopped here randomly on the way home on a ten hour drive. Was the perfect place to take a break and stretch your legs. We were too late to do this part but in the day you can pick fruit and get a boba tea. There's a very friendly cat, and a cow whose friendliness I can neither confirm nor deny. There's a little outdoor library. The gas station bathroom was super clean. The woman inside was very nice and I bought some homemade cookies that were incredible. The scenery is insane. So if you are in the area and need a place to get some gas and take a break this is it. We are definitely going to *plan* to stop here again which I've never said about gas station/rest stop before so I think it means this place was pretty wonderful.
A little piece of heaven! The refreshing cold brew, strawberry milk drink, and tranquil environment/good vibes made for such an unforgettable experience. A must if you’re nearby.
This is an AMAZING place to stop and grab a delicious beverage, read a book, or just sit back and relax. We made a quick stop during a long drive, and my only wish is that it wasn't quite so cold outside so we could stay longer! Melody was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of her menu. A true coffee guru! She offers a variety of teas, coffees, beverages and even ice cream. We ordered a bubble tea, a mocha mexicana, a caramel latte and a hot chocolate-- all of them were extraordinarily made, delicious, and far better than stopping at a chain shop. 10/10 reccomend!
This place is awesome! I’ve only had their lavender latte, but it’s very good (better than Starbucks). The staff is very friendly too! I think the barista who made my latte was named Rebecca? (not sure), but she was so kind, and made great coffee! There is lots of outdoor seating and a small library as well. There was even a very friendly cat roaming around the porch! Highly recommend.
Such a lovely place to go for a coffee or ice cream. I took my grand for Boba and she loved it. I had a latte and it was excellent. The service was so friendly just a tad slow. There is seating that's just like the name. You feel like you are on the porch relaxing and enjoying being outside. I will absolutely go back every time I'm in Strasburg.
