Great place to sit & relax while drinking Coffee or Custard. It’s so so good not to mention the friendly faces that greet you as you enter the door! Chris is so kind and I loved meeting him. Fantastic little hidden gem. You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back, wish we lived closer. Ha!

Chris’s Coffee and Custard is such a sweet little hidden gem in Roanoke! I ordered Chris’s fave and my friend got a cookies and cream milkshake. Both were delicious! The space was decorated so cute for Christmas and the staff was super friendly. 100% would recommend! :)

Amazing coffee and custard shop with great service. You feel right at home! Great area for kids too with an activity table to keep them occupied while the adults enjoy their coffee and delicious custards!! As if thatbwerent enough, buying here supports a great cause and we are all about that! Definately 5 stars!!!

Chris’s Custard is a coffee house with good food. It is nice that it is close to Garden City and South East Roanoke. I found it convenient for me to travel to and it’s also not too far away from South Roanoke.

I was pleasantly welcomed by a young gentleman who pointed out to me the coffee and food items. He also showed me the seating area. I thought to myself “is this the Hotel Roanoke”. Wow a staff member that greets you as the door with a big smile. The red carpet treatment is nice.

I sat and had a good cup of coffee. I liked that fact that the tables offer room to read and write. It’s a nice place with nice folks working there. This friendly place well deserves a 5 star rating.

5 star experience in every aspect! Delicious food, friendly service, unique industrial building and location. We got a spinach/cheese pastry that was amazing & a breakfast croissant. It was nice having somewhere we could go to get a late breakfast around noon. We ordered with coffees and ate outside. Pretty mountain views in a unique industrial location (supposedly was an old silk mill at one point in time). Afterwards, we split a dessert special of an Apple pastry topped with custard and chocolate caramel drizzle. A must go if your in the area.

Wonderful place! Everyone is friendly and attentive! My spinach feta bistro was delicious and my partners egg bites were also great! The cold brew was perfect! This instantly became a favorite! Can't wait to come back!

It was a little difficult to find the location since it’s so tucked away, but once we found it, it was so worth it! I got the vanilla custard and it was absolutely delicious. All the workers were friendly and kind. I know Chris from high school and it was wonderful to see him again. The shop itself is decorated beautifully and looks homey and modern at the same time. Fantastic experience, highly recommend!

I don’t post reviews typically, but this place earned it. Incredible service, fantastic food/coffee (and affordable!), and a truly admirable mission/purpose. Also has a very warm and inviting space. Job well done!

We love Chris’s Custard! Everyone is very friendly! The black raspberry custard and Oreo topped vanilla/chocolate custard will change your life.
