Surrounding Counties

A hidden treasure in the west end. I only wish Surrounding Counties was closer to me so I could get in there more often for a cup of coffee and a snack.

I went here and it made me happy. Zach (?) and Stan were very welcoming. We got kolaches (Texas pastry, hard to find here) and delicious sub rosa toast + local Richmond cold brew and an iced latte. Cool concept of spotlighting local producers from the “surrounding counties” and bringing specialty coffee to the suburbs. Woooo!!

Terrific coffee, excellent baked goods, and vibes for days. Owner is a super nice guy. 11/10

So yummy... stopped by for kolaches with ZZQ brisket which did not disappoint. Grabbed a few other kolaches, cheese grits (topped with goat cheese!), and iced coffee for a delightful Saturday morning breakfast!

Delicious food and lattes, and very friendly and helpful staff! Glad to have a delicious breakfast spot so close to my house. We will definitely be visiting again!

Coolest breakfast spot in Henrico! Fresh orange juice, homemade baked goods, excellent grits, perfect coffee, great vegan options, and a super friendly staff.

The Food and Coffee are always on point and the atmosphere is great.

The food and service are always fantastic! I'm allergic to dairy and they always take the best care of meeting my dietary needs! Plus the chewy bagels!🥰
