Fantastic local spot. Really good coffee, the kolaches are delicious, and the folks running the place are incredibly warm and friendly. It's god a great vibe inside, too. I was recently complaining at the lack of a good coffee spot nearby, but I won't be complaining any more. I will 100% be visiting this on a regular basis, and I hope the community continues to spread the word and support them. Great place!

Deliciously unexpected - the kolaches were phenomenal, yeasty and rich with interesting flavor combinations, and a Steamy Pete (coffee, espresso, condensed milk) hit the spot. A strawberry scone was also too good to resist!

So I've eaten here many times from my boyfriend picking up food from here but hadn't been in there yet myself until this morning. First and foremost the food here is exceptional, especially the hatch green chili and egg kolache (spelling? Don't judge) and the inside of the store is beautifully decorated with local artists work, something I appreciate being an artist myself. I highly recommend trying this spot! You will not be disappointed!

This place opened about 5 mins from us and I couldn't be happier! Friendly neighbood coffee shop with a cool vibe and excellent food/coffee. Easily the best breakfast sandwich I've had in Richmond!

The breakfast was delicious and so was the coffee! I had the Ultimate Cheese Grits and they were hearty and savory. What a fantastic way to start my day. My girlfriend got the Rosemary Bagel with Turkey bacon and cream cheese, which was also very tasty. It was great to stop by and meet the genuinely friendly staff. I’m sure we will return!

Such a fun, eclectic, little hidden gem. Hippie vibes, vinyls setting the musicsphere, and plenty of comics, table books, and art to spark conversation. The food was on point too! Plenty of choices for those with food allergies and restrictions/ preferences to still have choices. Beautiful selection of coffees and teas from local and exotic places.

Had some bagel sandwiches and coffee to go. Lox bagel was incredible and is open faced as it should be. Dressed up well. Drip coffee was pretty good and they have some good beans. Will try iced next time.

I have always wished there was a local coffee shop in the West End, and Surrounding Counties has surpassed my expectations! The coffee and creative food menu is exceptional. I really value that the store also supports so many Richmond artists and causes. The owner is always so kind and helpful. I have an amazing experience every time I go!

I'm sorry that it was our first time and we didn't know what we want. I did not like being shamed for looking at the menu in front of other customers and making backhand comments about me and my friend to customers after us. That red haired lady was not very nice and not welcoming. It sucks because I was so excited to come here.
