Mudita Cafe & Coffeehouse

Mudita has been the perfect Ocean View addition! I am so happy to have a local coffee shop that I don’t have to drive 15+minutes to and fight for a seat to work or study. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches are delicious and the avocado toast is amazing! I recommend adding chicken and pesto. I love that they cater just as much to tea drinkers as they do coffee lovers. Most coffee shops only offer basic teas, while Mudita updates their teas just like they do their coffees. They truly have something for everyone! Most of their syrups are made in house and a delicious addition to any tea or latte. For my fellow tea drinkers I highly recommend what I like to call “hug in a mug” it is an earl grey tea made like a London fog with carmel and vanilla. If the day is cold and gloomy or you just need some comfort this drink is sure to do the trick! For the pumpkin season I suggest a pumpkin chai!

I absolutely love this place!! <3 My husband and I moved into OV about a year ago and this is by far the best coffee shop in the area. They have a great vibe and delicious coffee. I like to get the lavender latte (there aren't many places that offer this flavor). My personal favorite small bite in the morning is the avocado toast.
Even in the past year they've made changes to speed up service and offer more variety. You can also order online if you're in a rush.

Amazing! I would give 15 stars, if I could. This is my new favorite place! So cute, the atmosphere was awesome. So clean! The chai latte and Cuban sandwich were absolutely delicious, and the staff were so friendly! Fast service and 10/10 quality experience. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you for a lovely experience!

I live in the area and am a big fan of hot teas. This place has not only excellent teas but also bites to eat the pulled pork tacos were delicious and they have waffles that are decadent but so delicious.

Very nice employees who were helpful, the atmosphere was nice with general coffee house vibes of people working or reading, the food was very good, and I enjoyed my tea as well. You can experience long wait times when its busy, but if you skip weekend brunch, you'll have everything out in no time. I love this place. Outdoor seating as well, right now it's being worked on (its Decmeber 2022) but its nice to sit out there as well.

It was the first time there. Service was slow. However, they were friendly. Food was good. And so was the coffee. It was open Mic night. Pretty cool.

Mudita is the perfect place for chilling and getting things done—though I’m sure it would be good for other things as well. It’s a really beautiful space with comfortable seating—including a ginormous cozy couch—and delicious coffee. I’ve also gotten a London fog here and it was yum. Another plus is that it’s less than a minute from the beach!

I love all our local coffee shops, but this one has stolen my heart. The food is perfect, the coffee is next level, and the atmosphere is welcoming with lots of natural light. This is where I feel most comfortable working out of the home.
