Mea Culpa Cafe

My second visit. It gets better with every bite. I swear they put something in the waffles. If you haven't been, then you're definitely missing out. Do not be put off by the small menu or the strange names of things. We know it's your first time. Just let it happen. You'll be happy you did.

Great little cafe!! Perfect quaint place to study/work during a weekday, which is what I did. Love how open and airy it is in there. Would love to see more options on the menu, but what I did order was wonderful! Add cafe con leche please!

This is the type of place that you try, and then keep coming back but with all your friends because it’s so good. The service and hospitality was as amazing as the food/coffee. (Highly recommend the savory oats.. best I’ve ever had) The owners are very welcoming and have something great going on here that’s unlike anything else in Norfolk. I’d recommend this place to anyone and wish them the best of luck!

I stopped at Mea Culpa for the first time while I was just taking a walk and exploring, and boy did I find something special, Mea Culpa has not only amazing coffee, but arguably the best chocolate buns I’ve ever had and hands down the most amazing sandwich I’ve ever had, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the greens and carrots were fresh and flavorful, and the choice of sauce paired perfectly with it all. If there’s one hidden gem I would have to reccome d to someone visiting, it would be Mea Culpa

First time visiting their brick and mortar. Had only had their food as pop up Waffle Tina. Love the permanent location. And as usual, the food was excellent.

You will pay a little bit more for a coffee, latte, or drink here. But it is totally worth it! Best coffee and latte I have had in Norfolk. If you truly enjoy coffee, you must try Mea Culpa Cafe .

I love Mea Culpa so much! It doesn't matter what you choose on the menu, it's always freaking delicious. Staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The space is decorated beautifully and feels super inviting. Don't second guess it, go here!

Absolutely delicious! Love the oat latte and basically everything I have ever had there is amazing! Its a really great spot for lunch or brunch.
