COVA Brewing Company

This is hands-down our favorite spot to hang out in Norfolk. Cova has an awesome range of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, rose, ciders) and they have a fantastic coffee section that's open all day (which is amazing for people like me who don't love beer). We love sitting outside with our pup with beer, coffee, baked goods and enjoying the weather. They've also held some amazing events and have a book club worth being a part of! I simply can't say enough good things about Cova and the people who work there! If you're in the area, it's a spot you have to check out!

One of the best craft brewery experiences in VB/ Norfolk.

The staff is super friendly, beer selection is ALWAYS rotating (so if you find something you like, drink up!), chill vibe, oh and you can get a handcrafted coffee too! Easily my go to spot with friends, to study, or just a chill night out.

Great new brewery! Fast friendly service with a pour your own beer system. Great beers made by Cova and plenty of great guest taps and ciders. Even with the pandemic their dealing with the changes in an awesome way opening the parking lot for enjoying beers (I assume you can drink coffee out there too)

This was my first experience at Cova. I drive-by it often but finally decided to walk to it with my granddaughter in her stroller and was pleasantly surprised to find a children’s area complete with a sandbox and shovels and buckets for her to play with. It’s really great to see families out here on a beautiful fall day. I can’t wait to come back in the evening and experience it.

Super cool local place! Keeping everyone safe while still making sure everyone is having a good time. All employees go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable even if it’s your first time there and you don’t know what to do, huge shout out to Will who had great recommendations as well as being very knowledgeable about the different options available . This place is the first brewery I’ve been to around this area that only cares about you having a good time &staying safe !! Thanks guys for all you do! We will be back

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The beer is self-serve and they have someone there to show you how it works (its easy)! You get a card (or 2 in our case) connected to your tab that you place in the card reader over the beer you want. It only charges you for how much or little you pour, which is perfect for trying a few without committing to a full glass. It also shows you the price of what you poured so its easy to keep track. You grab a new glass each time and use the rinser before you pour, so things stay clean. There is great outdoor seating and its in a great area, with a nice sized yard/field that was being used for an outdoor trivia night. The prices were good as well! There was also a food truck this evening. I'm not sure if they always have one, but it's good to know that they have the space for one. We are definitely coming back.

Great time. Drinks were great and the staff was very helpful in picking out drinks for my flight. The owner even came out to greet our group and talk about the different drinks and such. Overall really good experience, I live about 30 minutes away and I'll definitely be back.

Overall the location is nice and has a beachy feel to it. I enjoyed the self pour system. It made it easy and hassle free. I will have to be back next time to try the coffee though.

Extremely popular and for good reason. Great layout and system of the taproom and great beers to go with it. Very friendly staff! Sam is very kind and incredibly helpful! Their coffee and quiche are great as well.

Hampton roads needs more places like this. There is inadequate parking space however. Some patrons parked inconsideratly taking up too much space. We had to park in the mall lot. On the side of the venue, there is an area allocated to maybe 10 golf carts, but there was non there. It could be used to fit some cars, so the empty spaces are utilized.
