The food was look good when it came out. The whipped coffee was good and really enjoy it. It a really nice and cozy place. The food was not hot enough for me and that weird cause I was the first customer. Overall I give them 4 stars and would try again.

I had a great lunch here. I had the French toast with bananas and a side of eggs. Also did an oat milk latte. Everything was outstanding! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Great spot and delicious French toast!

Cafe Milo is most definitely one of downtown Norfolk’s hidden secrets. The restaurant could probably seat around 25 people but that is what makes it so cozy. The waiter was helpful and kind. The chef was also great and those grits, whew… so yummy! My favorite was the banana foster French toast, they were TOP TIER! I definitely recommend.

Food and drinks are wonderful. Staff is really welcoming and friendly.
Unfortunately, the day we went they were severely understaffed. But they let us know upfront and were able to take care of us, although it did take 3 hours for a lunch for 2.

Cafe Milo has GREAT service and food every single time I go. Chyna makes the absolute best lattes in 757 and has the best personality. Their whipped coffee is very very good, and you cannot go wrong with any of their food items.

I have tried their French dip with fries , French toast, and Milo bowl (seasoned potatoes, eggs, cheddar cheese, choice of protein (I chose sausage), green and red peppers and onions. Everything was 10/10!

Quaint small eatery in Norfolk within walking distance of business district. Took a while to get a simple coffee. But I can tell this business will grow as their workforce gets better. You are greated with smiles and positive energy and the owners who desire to give a great experience.

I had the turkey melt and my partner chicken and waffles 🧇. 😋 YUMMM. Make sure to try your melt with a little syrup. A little sweet and salty made it!!! Would have been nice to have bone in chicken with the waffles but overall ok.

Most impressive was the CLEAN restaurant with white walls and chic atmosphere.

The ambiance reminds me of Filipino cafes. I liked that they have whipped coffee. The food is fantastic, the flavors are really good. The staff are friendly and attentive.

They're very kind and gives you a warm welcome like you're there favorite cousin. The burger patty is bigger and seasoned better than any other $10 burger in DT Norfolk and well crafted. Some of the pictures on Google doesn't do there food any justice. The portions are HEALTHY!

Nice little place. Food was just okay though. They have a drink called a manmosa which I found creative in name. I've had something similar before but not with the name. They add Tito's to a mimosa. I got the Bananas Foster french toast. They look amazing online but disappointed in real life honestly. The bananas weren't fostered at all just cut and thrown on with a plate full of hot syrup. That was another issue to me but personal preference. To me they could have used candied walnuts, actually do a bananas foster and put the syrup on the side and had an amazing dish. The price was a little high as well. 3 eggs, 3 slices of bacon, the french toast and one manmosa was $44. I get everything is going up but still seems a little high. Server was great but the other lady at the counter was loud and complaining about staff and personal issues the whole time. Kind of takes away from the relaxing atmosphere. Has promise to be a nice niche kind of place if they fix a couple things.

Overall our lunch was very good besides a couple small issues; nothing worth serious concern and certainly nothing that would prevent another visit. Things happen, no biggie.

Everyone in my group had their eyes on the banh mi sandwich but unfortunately they
were out of chicken. Good news is the turkey melt was a fantastic replacement and at
that point the chicken shortage was quickly forgotten. Atreyu (Never-ending Story
represent!) was very polite and although he seemed to be juggling a lot he kept a
positive attitude while bussing, taking orders and serving
