We were told by a local to come here and we were not disappointed! We have a larger vehicle, so parking on the hill was a little tricky. We couldn't believe how much stuff we got for the price. It was really affordable and had tons of different options. We really enjoyed the guy at the front counter. He was so friendly and happy and had good recommendations. He didn't make us feel rushed or irritating he was incredibly kind. The food was made quickly and tasted delicious. We would love to come back again! We enjoyed the yeast glazed donut, iced coffee, plain bagel with onion spread, breakfast sandwich, and the sandwich called Peaks. So delicious!

Heard many good things about this place so had to come by and try it out. I ordered the Bully bagel sandwich and it was amazing! Perfect blend of flavors! My wife got the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and liked it as well. Very friendly owner and staff. Prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and I hope to be back!

TL/DR: We love Blue Ridge Bagels. Took a recommendation to come check it out while we were on campus at LU for College For A Weekend and it didn't disappoint. Worth the short trip to get here.

Why My Rating?
Group Size: We typically come in with 4-8 people with us. It never takes long to be served.

Food: The bagels are top notch. The breakfast sandwiches are just what you'd hope. We've only been in the morning so I can't speak from experience on lunch items but have heard the same. Will be trying soon.

Location: On Leesville Rd as you get close to Waterlick. Parking is tight in front but plenty on sides.

Staff: The staff is always welcoming and helpful.

Atmosphere: I love this place. It is comfortable and feels like a sweet hometown breakfast place. Recent upgrades have only made it easier to navigate the menu. We love the counter by the window!

Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean and comfortable.

Prices: Very reasonable.

Will We Come Back: Yes, 100% (and we do... especially now that we live back in the area!)

We heard about this place from some locals and also saw it on the Bring Fido app. It did not disappoint!

The service was fantastic and they are pet friendly on both outdoor patios.

They also had two gluten-free bagel options; Plain and Everything. We both decided to get egg and cheese sandwiches with the gluten-free everything bagel, at the suggestion of the employee we spoke with.

We also got iced Vanilla coffee with almond milk. Even the ice cubes were frozen coffee, which was a really nice touch.

The bagel sandwiches were delicious, as was the coffee. Although the coffee was a bit sweet for our liking, but we don't normally add sugar to our coffee. We toned it down a bit with some regular coffee we had been sipping on in the car and that made it perfect for us. But we're not your normal coffee drinkers, so it's probably spot on for most people.

Either way, this was a great find and a fantastic way to end our trip.

Overall not a terrible place. Food was mediocre for a bagel shop. I expected better. The ice coffee was obviously made ahead of time as it was quite watered down with only a few pieces of ice left. The donut was nothing special.
I really wanted to love this place...

We may be back but definitely aren't rushing back. Excellent customer service though!

Love this place. Out of the dozens of bagel places I've been to in Virginia, this is definitely the best one.

I ordered the bacon and cheese bagel to go. When I got to my destination and bit into my sandwich, I noticed the bacon was not just extra crispy, but was burnt. No big deal I thought, I'll just call back to the store and explain the situation to get it resolved. When I called back, I spoke to someone whom I kindly explained the situation. That person told me to hold on. I waited, and waited. After what seemed like forever I finally hung up. If the person I originally spoke with simply apologized and said come on back and we'll take care of it.. Cool. But all I got was a long sigh and I didn't get to speak to the person in charge. I'll never give them my business again. There are plenty of other bagel shops that have great bagels as well as Great customer service. Smh. As you were.

A hidden gem near Lynchburg! This mom-and-pop bagel place is fantastic. Great variety of bagels, donuts, and other food items. Good sandwich options, and lots of beverage options. They make iced coffee that is excellent. As for the bagels, they are all flavorful. I had a turkey, egg, and cheese sandwich on a sun-dried tomato bagel, and it was awesome. I also had a French toast bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese... a nice, sweet treat. My wife got an onion bagel with veggie cream cheese, and she loved it. All of the great food was paired with very friendly service. If we are ever in the area again, we will be sure to stop in.

By far the BEST blueberry bagels I’ve ever had!! Their homemade cream cheese is amazing also. I would definitely recommend giving them a try!

We’re all the way from New Jersey, decided to stop here while in the area for a bagel and now I’m sad that we live far away because this is one of the best little shops I’ve been to. I got a blueberry bacon egg and cheese, 11/10, we also got an iced coffee on the way out and we literally turned around to get another large one because it was just THAT good, glad we didn’t choose to go to dunkin like we originally planned haha. Don’t think twice and go here. The staff is so so so friendly! People and shops like these don’t come by often
