Amazing Thai food. Best we have had in the US.
Most of it is truly homemade.

Very yummy! Spring rolls and steamed dumplings were very good. Drunken noodles was delicious. Owner was personable.

The food is great, and the guy behind the counter is funny, engaging and just makes the whole experience. We've had days where the food isn't the best but he's the reason we keep coming back. 10/10

While Harrisonburg has a lot of good Thai restaurants, each with their own advantages, Thai Cafe has, hands down, the best Pho of anywhere I've ever eaten. Everything is served exactly to taste, and, if you like things spicy, the chef grows and preserves his own thai peppers and will give you a large bowl of them on the side with anything you order (just ask).
The service is also superb. After your second or third time there the wait staff will almost certainly recognize you. If you're the kind of person who establishes any kinds of habits (same drink, favorite dish, etc.), they'll remember. Definitely the kind of place where it is possible to just say "I want the usual" and actually trust that they'll know what you mean (even if its fairly complicated).

Awesome place for vermicelli! The owner is laid back, relaxed, and will talk with you. Ask about the fighting fish!! This is a regular spot for my fiancee & I... we love it!

Ordered Pad Sweet and Sour chicken and there was barely any chicken in the container, and it was very bland. Container was only like 3/4 of the way full too. Waste of $9.50

Food and service is good. The enviornment is a little noisy. Portions are big enough to take some home. There is an Asian grocery store behind Taste of Thai where you can get all the ingrediants.

I love this place. Not only is the food delicious, but the prices are more than reasonable, and the service is quick. The pho soup here has a more flavorful broth than anywhere else I've been.

Our favorite Thai food available as spicy as you want. I like mine very hot. Atmosphere is modest. Food is great. Friendly management.
