The best bakery and cafe in Harrisonburg. The owners are so sweet and the food is wonderful. Our family loves every visit.

Curry chicken salad sandwich with salad, loved it and the outdoor sitting area. Service was quick and delightful.

The best place downtown to pop in for a sweet treat and a coffee. They have wonderful customer service, and the sandwich selection is great for a quick lunch. With the majority of the dinning room having floor to ceiling windows, this is a great place to post up during a snow flurry.

Heritage is my favorite place to plan my class lectures or catch up with a friend. Their pastries are always fantastic, the staff is so friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and wonderful. I have ordered specialty cakes and picnics, all of which have been delicious and tastefully designed. This is by far one of the best places in Harrisonburg.

They are amazing! I would go here every day if I could! From the macarons to the shortbread, I love it all! They went above & beyond for my gender reveal cupcakes I ordered also! Lovely ladies & a lovely place! ✨💕

Thank you for having a dairy and wheat free option. Always a plus, and the blueberry muffin was good. I also had the apricot desert. Cute plates and very nice workers.

We ordered a lemon poppy seed angel food cake for a birthday and it was delicious! Decorated with fresh flowers and lemon slices, the cake was almost too pretty to cut into, but we’re sure glad we did. We would recommend Heritage for anyone who is looking for an extra special cake for an extra special person. Thanks Isabelle!!!

They're very cute and it's a nice atmosphere. I've been here several times and had varying experiences. The crumb bars are generally quite good, as was the ginger cookie I had, and my husband's bacon egg and cheese croissant was tasty. Unfortunately, I got a spinach egg and cheese croissant, and the spinach was just a few raw leaves on top of the egg. I expected sauteed spinach with some sort of seasoning. It had no flavor, which was very disappointing, but luckily smothering it in Cholula helped some. Macaron had a very hard, sort of hollow shell, which I don't think is supposed to happen.
The coffee is fairly average and nothing special. I do wish they had decaf, but the couple times I've asked they've said they can make some but their tone makes it sound like it would be a big inconvenience, so I always just say thanks anyway. Sort of awkward customer service! I'd rather them just say it wasn't available and save us both the awkwardness. Haha
Overall not totally incredible, but a nice place to sit outside on a cool day, and there are some good pastries as well!

The most adorable little bakery tucked inside an historic building next to the Harrisonburg Visitor's Center. The pastries are tasty and beautiful, and the dining room is perfect for a cozy brunch. A great place to fuel up before hitting the shops in Downtown Harrisonburg!
