I love this place! Every time I am on Main Street in Front Royal, I always stop to get a cup of coffee and a pastry! They have great coffee and food! The people are very friendly, making you feel right at home!!
There was recently a review that wasn’t too good, I am highly contradicting that review! I am so very glad that they were 100% patriotic Americans for not wearing these so called “masks”! Because of this, when I went into their place of business, I felt as if I were in America, Land of the Free, instead of a 3rd world communist country!! Because of this, I felt more at home than ever before! Because of this, I will go to their place of business more often and will encourage others to do the same!!
I can’t thank them enough for not wearing masks!! Thank You, you have a customer for life!!

Really cute place and little town. Was my pit stop to/from Massanutten, while quick charging my vehicle at the Chevy. Plenty of room and space to spread out. Cozy atmosphere. Nice clean restrooms. Dulce de leche latte was yummy and not too sweet. The hot chocolate was not very chocolatey, could use more cocoa.
We'll be back! Might ask for extra cocoa next time for the hot chocolate.

Daily Grind in Front Royal has a great selection drink and food items including many gluten free items which is really what brings us in. I do not like to put syrup in my coffee; I prefer to use natural sweeteners such as a small bit of real honey. Yesterday I ordered a decaf cold brew with real honey and whole milk. The employee put in honey syrup which is far sweeter and has a different taste. I asked if I could get the drink as I ordered it or just receive my money back and the girl at the cash register told me no, that they had made it as I ordered it so I couldn’t have the drink remade or receive my money back. She told me that honey syrup is the same thing as honey which it is not. It differs in both taste and consistency. I told her this and she begrudgingly remade my coffee. I witnessed another person ask that they remove the ice from her drink ad it would melt in the heat. She was very apologetic and polite and the employees gave her a similar attitude. It seems clear that the girls have no stake in the business or they would not be treating customers with disdain. I might be old fashioned but I would never imply that a customer is wrong or being annoying unless it was there was an exceptional reason for it. Other than my awkward interaction yesterday, my experience with the Daily Grind has been slightly above average.

We stopped here for breakfast during our Appalachian Trail thru hike. We ordered a smoothie, coffee, lox bagel, and breakfast burrito. Everything was pretty good but nothing special. Prices were a little higher then we were used to. The staff was friendly, and they allow dogs on the patio which is a bonus!

We came in around mid morning looking for a quick bite. I had a roasted vegetable and egg wrap and my date had a crosaint with egg. Fantastic! The young ladies who took our orders were great too. Thanks, to the chef. Good menu selection.

I asked for a raspberry latte with 1 less shot of flavor so it wouldn’t be so sugary. I watched her as she did it and she had put in6 shots. I asked her how many she usually puts in and was told 5 in a large. I told her she added 6 and she was firm about the 4 and would not remake it. It was way too sweet to drink. My sons blueberry muffin tasted like a freezer burned muffin that was left in the freezer for over a year. Overall I would not have paid what I did. If you are going overcharge for your product you should have an amazing staff, quality food and beverage! I would have rather driven to Starbucks and be overcharged there- they at least remake a coffee when they get it wrong!

This is a wonderful family owned cafe! Be sure to stop in and enjoy a yummy cinnamon roll or any of their great pastries along with a good cup o’ joe! Love the patriotism too! Thanks for a great experience.

We stopped in for coffee and a pastry on our vacation and were impressed not only with the drinks and food but with the people running the shop. They were friendly and efficient with us and with all the customers while we were there.
One elderly gentleman came in for his "usual order" and was served quickly and even had sugar and cream added to his coffee by the staff. "I don't know what I would do without you!" was his comment to the staff.
We will visit whenever in the area.

Their coffee and drinks are good, I'll give them that. But boy are they expensive and their food is pretty bad. I was served a tiny grilled cheese sandwich with a few tiny chunks of unripe tomato, a few chunks of avocado and one slice of unmelted cheese. My husbands sandwich was better, but still not worth the price. For the exact same price, you can get way better quality lunch at several other downtown restaurants.

We were pleasantly surprised by our breakfast here. The coffee was great. The hot chocolate is steamed milk, not boiled water and a packet you can buy at the grocery store. The breakfast sandwich was great and the double chocolate muffins were huge.
