Good food and coffee, friendliness is hit or miss. Don't bother getting a large sized anything as they are the same size!!

ideal people watching spot - great playlist, cozy atmosphere, delicious coffee (great dark chocolate mocha). very much enjoyed the sandwiches and pastries. if you are a doodler, writer, or looking for a place with the right amount of background stimulation for a thinking session, grab a window seat and unlock your flow state.

coffee is to die for. the jack of all trades is my go to sandwich at de clieu, love the mustard aioli!

Local spot with free public parking behind shop. It was very busy with I went in the afternoon so no tables available. Ordered the waffle and iced coffee. Was not impressed. The coffee was bland even with a flavor added to it. Would not go again.

Amazing seasonal drinks and even more amazing sandwiches! My go to in the area when I'm dining in or need to grab a treat on the go. An Old Town Fairfax Classic.

Stopped in on the way to visit a friend. They were quick with the drinks and very patient with anyone who needed help deciding on a drink.

Awesome coffee if you like strong robust, rich coffee with intense flavor! Their coffee sizes come with the right amount of shots so you don't have to add an extra shot to make the coffee taste right. The sandwiches are good here as well. They also have gelatos and they make a very tasty espresso gelatoccino. Great hangout in downtown Fairfax city. It's a corner shop that attract locals, visitors as well as Mason students and is always busy.

Good food and fun selections. Gluten free sandwiches are great! Fun flavored teas and coffees too. Definitely worth trip to have a great meal.

Not a bad coffee shop, with decent number of seats, but quite crowded, nonetheless. Usually there will be few people eyeing for seats, so seating isn't guaranteed. But once seated, not too bad of an atmosphere.
There is a small public parking lot less than a 100 yards up the street. Not sure about other parking spaces, so not too convenient if you want to drop by in your car.
I had the latte, but nothing to write home about. The way I judge a good latte is whether I feel a slight bit nauseated, which means, at least to me, a bit more than necessary proportion of milk over espresso. I felt that here.
If I'm walking in the neighborhood and was craving for coffee, then, yes, I'd come by again. But not if I'm driving through the neighborhood. Not really worth the hassle.

Atmosphere was great and food was even better! Loved their warm sandwiches, their bread was so nice and soft. And the coffee was delicious too! Overall a great spot for breakfast but it does get a little crowded in there.
