Met a friend for lunch and had a great sandwich at The cheese shop. Coffee cafe was also great. Got a hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow syrup. Creamy. Yum.

A lot of cute shops and friendly people! Particularly enjoyed trying the different jerkies and delicious chocolates. Lots of fun kitchen tools on one end and hard to find ingredients on the other end make for a great adventure. Lots of beautiful arts and crafts for sale along with some crafting supplies. It was worth the hour drive.

Fun place to visit with several unique shops. These are all small, local businesses. There's a great bakery with a variety of cakes, cookies and pies - and they take orders!
The cheese shop also has all sorts of baking ingredients, candies and snacks.
Several other neat little shops and a café make this worth a visit.

Such a fun, nostalgic market with very attractively decorated booths. The Southwest Chicken Salad from Hanks was delicious. Also, Chocolate from Wafel’s is a must try! Prime Cuts and Seafood is a new meat shop that opened this weekend. They have a small, but quality assortment of specialty meats and seafood like Fillet Mignon, Salmon, Crab Cakes and Legs, and Fresh Shrimp. The owner is my Uncle and I know you will not be disappointed by your purchases!

Cute little shopping square that has a bunch of fun to look at knickknacks and tasty food items. The coffee shop has good coffee and also serves scoops of ice cream!

Good food at Hank's on the inside, especially the pulled pork. Children enjoyed the hot dogs while some had platters. Overall, food was good again with the highlight being the pulled pork. The 3 available barbecue sauces were decent, but not exceptional. The coleslaw was palatable but again, nothing exceptional. Service was superb with smiling and friendly personnel. The shops offer hard to find items in basic or bulk quantities with everything from rice flour to peanut candy and just about anything else in between. Many local and regional fares are available bagged or canned. The homemade candy section looked delightful and uniquely satisfying, but honestly the prices were outrageous and generally prohibitive. Chocolate delights of numerous varieties at almost $18 per pound is unreasonable for most shoppers. There is local ice cream, many craft offerings and a number of delightful shops with many unique offerings. It's a fun place to visit. People are Shenandoah Valley-friendly. You are likely to find some things here that a difficult to find elsewhere. If you're ever in the area, stop by and give it a try. Just don't anticipate too many bargains because uniqueness most often comes with a price. Nonetheless, whatever you get will likely be decent quality.
