The Dayton Market

They are a nice quaint market. The food is very good, especially the soft pretzels and icecream. A kids size cone is as large as a regular cone at most icecream shops. The pretzels are often made to order so they take about 5 minutes to get them, but they are hot and delicious. The baked goods are also homemade and tasty.

Great shops and choices

I am like a kid in a candy store. Crafts and food and sweets. A fun place to relax and have coffee with friends. Meet new people. Highly recommend The Dayton Market.

We had a nice visit while visiting the area.. bought several of the Route 11 chips to try, some cheese and a fried pie.. everything was delicious, wish it was more like a farmers market.

I love this place. It has toys ,jewelry, candy, baked goods,fresh meat beef jerky at at reasonable price. Several sales going on staff was friendly. Numerous other items for sale.

I usually love this place, but today, I was disappointed. When I checked out of the food store, the person at the register insisted that I use my pin#, who h I hardly ever do, I'd rather sign for everything. And, she wouldn't hand me my receipt. I found that something had been added that I didn't get nor purchase. Very dissapointed.

Very nice pleasant atmosphere. Friendly people, great service. Everything was very clean, minimal crowds which is good especially now. We live across the mountain but we will be back.

Great shops to find local products from Chocolate to pies to healthy and sustainable toys. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat, people watch, and do a little shopping.

So many different shops there. From trinkets and decor to toys and some groceries. I like the coffee shop, and there are a couple food places.

I really didn't want to give it the one star. I think this area which seems to need tourist to add additional funds to the economy. Has a lot to learn about hospitality or how to treat people that are of a different race. My family and I received no greeting when we walked into the store. We felt ignored as the vendor colored in a coloring book and talked on the telephone. There were no other customers in the store. We just walked out! Needless to say I will never go back to this market again.
