This review is long overdue! I am not surprised by the very high marks this shop has received. I was given a bag of House of Loud'n as a gift. What a great gift it was!!! My morning routine is to make myself a travel mug of coffee to drink on my way to work. I never, ever finish my coffee before I get to work and most of it sits in my cup until I leave for home 10 hours or so later. Not the case with this coffee. My first cup was gone before I got to work. Each day after was the same! It is, without a doubt, the best tasting coffee I have ever had. It was smooth and light (I do not like strong or bold coffee) so this was just perfect. It had a hint of chocolate which was an added treat. Eventually I will make it out to the coffee shop. I am eager to try the other varieties. And, for those of you who have a hard time shopping for family or friends, give them some coffee from Loud'n Roasted. I guarantee they will love it!

I decided to stop by on a short visit to DC. Espresso was awesome, was served a wonderfully balanced shot and decided to pick up a bag of Espresso Lane. I don't remember the name of who I spoke with that day (was in the AM of Wednesday May 18th) but she was super friendly and offered some great advice to help me dial in the blend at home. I sadly ended up wasting way more coffee than I should have trying to dial in (I'm still brand new to this hobby...) but I realized that I was grinding way too fine which induced channeling and led me in this roundabout game of trying to eliminate harsh acidity but choking the machine at the same time. Tonight I decided to coarsen the grind and finally pulled my first drinkable shot with this blend and I am so happy! Very thick crema with notable striping, a bit acidic but in a tart and lively way that carried some blueberry notes. I can still work the yield to balance it out more, but it is pretty good as it is. While I think it is delicious, I think I am more of a fan of chocolate and caramel notes, so I'm super excited to try the medium and darker roasts. I highly recommend Loud'n Roasted - definitely plan to continue ordering!

It is amazing to have a company right in our community that roast your coffee right when you order it. Once the beans are roasted, they have a shelf life of 10-14 days. Just think about the 6-12 month old coffees at the grocery store.
My favorites so far are the Guatemalan and the House of Loudoun. The Guatemalan is a lighter roast with a rich and fruity flavor. The House of Loud’n is a medium roast that is surprisingly balanced and drinks more like a lighter roast.
As soon as you place your order, you get a confirmation. You will also get updates when your order is being processed and when it’s ready for pick up.
The coffee is packaged in a resealable zip style bag that also has a vacuum valve. This ensures the highest level of freshness.
The Brazilian is a great way example of why you should choose a local roaster. This is a dark roast. It has the maillard profile you expect in a dark roast, which is rich and bold with hints of cocoa and cinnamon. Contrasting to any of the National Brands who have a dark roast that tastes like it’s been burnt to a crisp.
A good sign of a well roasted dark profile is that there are no oils on the beans. The beans should have a matte finish, which Loud’n Roasted’s Brazilian has. The oily beans you see at others like Pete’s or ‘Bucks are older and over roasted (they do this for shelf stability).
As you can see in the pictures, we’ve stocked up for a while (at least a 10-14 day supply).

I visited Loud'n Roasted for the first time recently and had an amazing experience. The barista/owner was so friendly and welcoming, the drink I ordered (a "baklava latte") was the perfect balance of sweet + nutty, and the overall ambiance of the place was lovely. Highly recommend checking out this great coffee shop, located inside Megabytes Eatery in Chantilly. Looking forward to visiting again and trying one of their famous iced coffee/nitro flights!

Finally, a place with Baristas that actually care about pulling a good shot. Atmosphere at Megabytes is awesome too.

Coffee was delicious and the computer old school theme was fun, see the old consoles and video games was nostalgic

I've been here several times now, and their Nutella Nitro is delicious, I love that oatmilk is an option for drinks, something that even our local Starbucks has yet to offer. The barista is super friendly. We'll definitely be coming back again and again. I just wish they would stay open a bit later.
Edit 9/2022 - This place is BY FAR my favorite coffee shop. I love trying the new flights every month. My absolute favorite latte is the Rose Cardamom. I tell anyone and everyone to go and have no heard negative feedback from anyone. <3

I was getting fed up with stale coffee beans from the supermarket and from various online sources, so decided to find a local roaster. This location (inside megabytes cafe) is the retail outlet of a local guy who only roasts coffee to order, so I knew the beans I purchased were as fresh as you can get aside from roasting them yourself. What a difference! Problem solved. Oh by the way: VERY reasonable pricing. And the little coffee shop itself is run by an exceptionally friendly and helpful young lady who can sling a mean espresso.

I discovered this roastery when my long time source for whole bean coffee began selling in 5# quantities only. I tried a couple of other sources before finding these folks and am very glad I kept searching.
Excellent variety of whole bean coffees. Their blends are diverse and always enjoyable and their customer service is top notch. Sherif is a pleasure to deal with and always goes out of his way to please.
Loud'n Roasted will be my go to source for coffee going forward.
