Mill Mountain Coffee and Tea

Overpriced, coffee wasn't very good. Lot of pretentious workers and patrons. Our cashier got pretty snippy and sarcastic with me when I stated we had never been there before. Uncomfortable seating. Won't be back.

My go-to drink at new coffee places is a mocha, and I personally think Mill Mountain has the best one in town. The ability to get the coffee "for here" and have it served in a big coffee cup was really nice too and makes it seem to taste better too (maybe it is psychological).

I will say they are not perfect. I find their pastries to be just ok and their sandwiches are pretty basic and something that I can make myself for half the price. Go to Next Door Bakery if you want good pastries and sandwiches. They've got the best food (but average coffee).

Also, I got the iced mocha here once and it was NOTHING like the hot mocha. It was way too sweet. I think they add extra sugar to counteract the stronger espresso that iced mochas use, but they definitely overdid the sugar.

Overall, they have solid hot espresso and coffee, so go here if you can and try it out.

EDIT: Got the iced mocha again and it wasn't overly sweet like the first time. It was actually pretty strong, but still not on the same level as their hot mochas (and not as good as Starbucks iced mocha, but I will probably get hate for saying that). Still the best place for coffee and espresso in Bburg.

Vanilla espresso cooler is one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had! Also, I would also recommend trying their cream cheese pastries

The staff is kind, the environment is chill, the coffee is so delicious 😍 When there is a table open it’s a great place to do work (or homework if you’re a student) We love Mill Mountain ❤️☕️

I love Mill Mountain Coffee Shop because they offer a great variety of coffees and teas to choose from. They're food, although limited, is delicious and reasonably price. What's best however is the customer service.

Friendly service, I really enjoyed my iced Mocha latte:) I'm not a big fan of the yuppie atmosphere, but it's quaint and there's plenty of seating. If I'm in the area, I'd go back for another IML.

Great local coffee shop within walking distance of campus. Serves both coffee and tea. I believe they roast their own coffee beans, which is for sale in whole bean and ground. They are proceed pretty fair too!

Decent food and coffee. Thankfully, the current staff is much better than spring 2021! They are friendlier and more attentive.

This is the best coffee in Blacksburg without a doubt. The staff are super friendly and efficient, atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!
