Always enjoy visiting this shop. A solid espresso and great conversation with coffee enthusiasts. You can feel the love in every cup that is crafted.

Very good location for study, and small meets conveniently adjacent to the farmers market, the post office, Sam&Moe, printing&shipping store and surrounding banks. It is centrally located in an almost covert location with it's urban but tranquil feel and location, which is influenced by it's two entrances- and it's most predominate Cafe window view facing a nice casual alley that screams Cafe in the City of Blacksburg[ I know..I know ... It's a town by measure but a small City in it's own right]. I've been to Idego Coffee a handful of times even on my last dollars, hungry, beat and in need a good reviving snack. Never dissatisfied with the service and treats at this like lovely place.

Been going here for well over a year now. The high quality is consistent and it's my favorite cafe in town. Awesome atmosphere for studying or hanging out with a friend. One suggestion is to consider expanding the bakery options. All-around my ideal cafe, wish I could take it with me wherever I go.

I greatly enjoy this local shop. The prices are very reasonable for the high quality of coffee they serve, and the menu has enough unique choices to satisfy the curious, and enough familiar items that you can very reasonably order what you're used to ordering. The shop itself is clean and well put-together, and the vibe is friendly and open.

Fantastic coffee and wonderful service! Idego is very close to where we work so we have the opportunity to stop by often, but even if you don't live close it's worth a trip to try them out. This is a "third wave" coffee shop so everything is high quality and the owner takes coffee very seriously. When my husband first went in to order a mocha, he learned that the chocolate ganache used in the mocha is made in house, as is their vanilla. Nice. Every time we go the coffee is top notch and the owner Paul is a super nice guy as well as being a great source of coffee related knowledge. We have only tried the food a couple of times but it has always been amazing as well. The blueberry muffins in particular were awesome. Coffee lovers need to check this place out ASAP.

Great coffee! Good place to sit down and get some work done (free wifi) or chat with a friend. It's a bit small, so seating can be challenging when it's busy, but there are some nice places to sit outside nearby. Also, Idego is conveniently located next to the farmers market on Saturdays.

Coffee is really better than OK, with that said I'm not a fan of the sometimes occasionally lackadaisical staff who seem to be more interested, the time I went in there in themselves being all "alt" rather than fixin me a cup of java. ( aka it was some dude playing with iPhone & adjustin his hair & nails PRETTY GROSS! )

I’ve been going to Idego since it was a quiet shop in Christiansburg, and have loved being there for its rise in popularity in Blacksburg. Everything on the menu is fantastic but my favorite is the mocha latte, which is truly the best I’ve ever had. The homemade ganache and high-quality espresso make it a complex, moderately sweet treat instead of sickly sweet and unidimensional like you get from some coffee shops. 15/10 would highly recommend.

Best espresso drinks in town. They really take care to get it right. They don't roast their own but locate excellent roasts. I buy my espresso beans from them. Hard to find but worth the effort.

Well prepared coffee with beans roasted the right way. Starbucks prices for coffee at a much higher level.
