Nice cafe with good pastries, good place for a small breakfast and lunch

Avocado toast is to die for !! Frittata was good too just a little bland needs salt/pepper. The salad on the side is perfection. Great coffee and awesome vibes. Everything was fresh and light .

Got its own unique ambience/character inside, which is pretty much the only thing going for this place. Food was ok, but only just that...and certainly not worth the price. The eggs were cold and missing the cheese I asked for. The customer service was appalling though, hence the rating. The person who took our order was unresponsive, unhelpful, and very clearly annoyed by everything and everyone. The entire experience was off-putting. I won't be coming back or recommending this place to anyone. Wish I had picked any other place for brunch today...

I am sad to report that this place is not great. It is 1 of 2 cafes on the mains trip in Woodstock and it’s not surprise that there is never a line here and always a line at Mon Vert, where I would’ve gone had I not been in a rush.

The coffee was terrible. It tasted bitter and watery at the same time. Also, I didn’t mind that my breakfast sandwich took a while but the manager and the chef both seemed very stressed and were not very friendly.

However, the young girl working the cashier was incredibly kind and friendly. And after all of this, my breakfast sandwich was very very good, despite the overall service and vibe of my staff here (minus the girl at the cashier). Since there is only one chef, you can tell she does care about the product she is producing and my sandwich was delicious. If I go back, I’d do an espresso drink and a breakfast sandwich.

Great specials and dog friendly. I got the tomatoe and pesto grilled cheese. It was quick, easy and of course delicious. When I'm back in Woodstock I'll definitely be visiting again.

Staff was friendly and there was a couple of cute dogs on patio. Location is great for a quick stop.

We had a late lunch here on a Thursday - along with seemingly everyone else passing through Woodstock! They were the only cafe open of the 2 in that part of town ... and were hopping! They seemed a little overwhelmed and so were a little slow, but they delivered it all and the food was very tasty! The sandwiches and salads for all 4 of us had great flavor and were well prepared.

Wonderful meals, great pastries and a fantastic staff makes this a very enjoyable place for a nice lunch. Outdoor sitting is quite enjoyable but just a heads up that during Covid there are free tables and lots of people wanting to have lunch. I recommend getting it to go and eating at one of the lovely parks in the town. Great staff that’s quite busy but still takes great care of customers.

Overall a nice place for a bite but overpriced. Coffee came out lukewarm but they made us a new one. I got the biscuit sandwich with “Taylor ham.” It was just regular ham which was pretty disappointing. Also need to get a better sear on that ham. Both sides.

Horrible experience all around. No management, run by chaos of lack of signs informing you to order and sit down; causing 10 groups to all ask the same questions. One cash register, run by one of the slowest operators I’ve ever experienced. After waiting 40 minutes in line, the owner informed the restaurant that after myself , there would be two more groups until breakfast would end. We arrived at 10:45am, and we were told that at 11:25am.

I finally arrive at the cash register , and the cash register operator informed me that breakfast was closed. The chef already put everything away for breakfast and was no only serving lunch. Mind you, the restaurant is all but a 10x10 main square room, everyone hears everything. Also can’t understand why the cook would put everything away 5 minutes before their stated breakfast time ends , with a line out the door

Truly a comedy of errors

This lovely cafe was just opened by talented caterers from NYC. It is warm and bright with excellent food.

Our pup had a puppiccino while we ate a delicious lunch. It is the quintessential small town cafe. Everyone chatted; newcomers and locals. Such an enjoyable meal!
