Im young and I never leave reviews, however I would hate for someone else to receive the service we did. My group of friends and I went in and received very rude service from the woman at the counter. She rolled her eyes when we told her we needed to take a look at the menu before ordering and raised her voice at my friends when asking to repeat a question. In addition, she prepared our drinks and food with her mask on her chin; being in the middle of a pandemic, this is very dangerous to all customers! Also, the egg sandwiches my boyfriend and I ordered made us sick, we were nauseous for the entire day. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this spot!

Stopped in as I was driving by and needing coffee. Ordered a cafe macchiato and it was excellent. Was the barista overly friendly? Nah. But she pulled a great coffee and if I lived around the area it would be my go to.

I love their coffee. I'm allergic to so many foods, and every single time I come here I haven't had an allergic reaction. I love this place. I drive 45 minutes here sometimes with my partner to get their coffee.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Coffee Barn is the worst place in Dover. Rude owners and staff and the bagels are worse than frozen Lenders bagels. Don’t waste your time. Go down the street to Betseys!

It’s an odd time to become a regular (irregular according to our favorite barista) somewhere these days. Coffee Barn became an absolute morning staple of a recent month long stay up in VT as a brief outlet to the work at home life. The coffee and service was great, with even better commentary about Jack Dorsey and planned obsolescence. Hoping to return someday for a coffee or chocolate chip cookie.

we went to this restaurant on our way to go snowboarding nearby. we walked in and immediately the woman was not very kind. we ordered 5 bagels and they were all extremely hard and we couldn’t even eat them. our two bagels had peanut butter on them and the lady decided that she was not going to put it on for us but didn’t even give us a knife. she then gave very dirty looks when we threw them away. i politely mentioned that they were just a little too hard to eat. she snapped and said “i took them out of the freezer this morning, this is vermont we don’t bake our own bagels”. in all honesty this was such an unpleasant way to start my morning.

I always get a great breakfast there

The woman behind the counter provided me with the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The way I was treated was completely uncalled for. As a side note, if you would like a cup of water with your coffee, don't come here. The response I was given was "we don't give tap water here". Not a good way to keep customers if you ask me.

Coffee was good, but the service was the rudest I've experienced in a coffee shop. The barista clearly didn't want us there from the moment we walked in, gave short answers, and seemed annoyed when I didn't have the entire bagel list memorized. The wifi also didn't work on 3 devices we tried, and when I asked about the WiFi the barista's response was "Well, my systems are working".

While we worked on out laptops tethered off of our phones she did chat nicely to other patrons but after a few hours there we realized that a lot of their conversations were complaining about outsiders coming in and trying to "take the town over" (potentially referring to us since we were visiting)

So in conclusion, don't go here. They don't hire nice people, and will treat you drastically different if they think you're not a local.

It's a shame because I really wanted to like this place after being recommended by some locals but I can't really recommend it after being treated so poorly, and as someone who lived in VT for a while, it makes me worried that some people think this is what VT is like.

The breakfast bagel sandwhich tasted very fresh, and the coffee was delicious. I recommend stopping in for a bite to eat between runs on the mountain
