Trapp Kaffeehaus

Couldn't decide on the German chocolate cake or the lemon cake. So we ordered and shared both. Don't ask me which one was better. I'd have to taste them both again to tell.

Closes the very limited menu at 2pm. Strange deal. Looked as though they were quite disorganized. When I asked the server at the counter what they had on their menu he probably told me they were closing in 15 minutes. They clearly weren't interested in serving lunch, but we're very very proud of their craft beer prices. Very much of a disappointment. We left without purchasing anything and found a better place to go for lunch.

Very very poor and slow care, served with an extra helping of a poor attitude!
Ice cold hard butter for pancakes. No excuse. Out of all juices but orange.
Pancakes were mediocre.
I will say the crumb cake was delicious so if you’re just stopping for a pastry, and you don’t mind waiting, you’d maybe like it.

We had an amazing time cooking smores, and it was a pleasure to talk to the man in charge, he was very nice to talk to and great at his job. I wasn't in the coffee house but I'm sure it is just as wonderful as the lodge.

We go here 2 or 3 times everytime we visit. Great food and baked goods.

This is a beautiful place that is surrounded by mountains. The Head Pastry Chef, Mauricio Helmut Odermatt, is responsible for a delicious array of pastries, including very authentic 🍎 Apple Strudel.
The sandwiches are wonderful and you can order a "make your own" sandwich, including many vegetarian options. We have been eating here for more than 13 straight years when at Trapp, and that includes with our children and grandchildren.
We welcome the Deli and Bakery Kauffeehause. Cheers!

Very expensive. Very limited selection. Poor customer service. I could get free coffee until 10 am but the vibe was so negative I refused to go back. Guest house owners should be treated with dignity and respect. I was treated like I was bothering them!

The Almond Danish!!!!
Tried other items too...like the cinnamon roll.
And Crownies....brownies made from croissant dough (never knew there was such a thing). Worth a drive there to try a few items. Reasonably priced

They had the best pumpkin chocolate chip muffin!!
