I would just go here for the amazing views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We bought a few pastries to eat there and also bought local raw honey, Trapp lodge made granola and Trapp Lodge chocolate dipped coconut macaroons. Everything tasted good. A must visit place if you are in the area or if you are a sound of music fan.

What everyone else has already said holds true: the foods, the views, the staff. What no one prepared me for is the absolute abundance of incredibly beautiful and stunning performances of classical, baroque, and renaissance recorded chamber music that is floating through the air and coloring every bite of my Black Forrest Ham and Cheese Croissant and making my maple latte that much sweeter. As a professional violinist who has travelled so much of this incredible country it’s the music of a place that can be transportive. This is the purpose of this stunning music. Viennese adore their classical music and this is the cherry on top. Sounds like it’s time to book my Austrian vacation!!
Come for the coffee, lattes, every single pastry in the case and the views.
Stay for the service and the attention to detail and the music, live AND Pre-recorded.
Pros: easy parking, clear signage, delicious and highest quality food, location
Cons: prices are decent for the quality, service can be a bit slower than expected
I will be back with my family in the summer or anytime of year for this relaxing and inspiring experience!! It’s worth a trip up the mountain 👏🏼

Went chasing the Fall all the way to Vermont from Boston. Heard of the kaffeehaus from people. So, pushed beyond endurance to have food; breakfast became brunch. Nice people who served at the counter. But very limited choice and blatantly costly. However the scenery from there was breathtaking. That was indeed a solace. Somehow the visit to Kaffeehaus leaves a sense of disappointment. The place is a must go but as far as the caffe, i will not.

Wonderful bakery, cafe, and bar! The blueberry scone and apple strudel were delicious, and free complementary coffee until 10:30am if you are staying at trapp.

Foodies will love the Trapp Family Lodge
their shuttle bus can take you to the Kauffee House with fresh made pastries you can enjoy by the fire or at the coffee bar with more great views

Felt really content at this place while eating their delicious maple cheesecake! They also had a disc golfing course! Their employees were also very welcoming and friendly!

Coffee was really good! Cold sandwich was fine.

Iced coffee was $6 which is definitely a bit overpriced. I could get over the cost if the coffee was good fresh brewed iced-coffee or cold brew, but it was not good at all. It tasted like hot coffee was just dumped over ice and very watered down.

The food was decent. Pastries were good but the breakfast sandwiches are sitting in a warmer and are small/dry. There are better options in the area for breakfast sandwiches

They keep changing the name of this beautiful spot. Now known as the Kaffeehaus, the food is even better than before. This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. The sandwiches are delicious but the real showstoppers are the pastries which are all baked on the premises by a newly hired baker from Austria. The coffee, which they get from Artisan Coffee down the road is amazing and of course they have all the Trapp beers on offer as well. If you’re in town or staying at the resort this place is worth a visit both for the food and the wonderful views.
