I went to Pauline's for the first time, and I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Our server, Mitzie, was very friendly and helpful. Even though she was very busy running food, Mitzie still took time to check in on us and make sure we were topped off and happy. Our food was top notch. We ordered escargot, pork schnitzel, and the steak frites. Escargot was cooked perfectly with a beautiful herb butter. Pork was crispy and moist with an amazing white wine and caper sauce, flavors were all very well balanced. My steak frites was without a doubt the single best steak I've had to date. I believe it was a dry aged New York strip, not sure if its always available on the menu. Seasoning was perfect, steak had a beautiful crust, and it was topped with an herb butter that tied it all together. I used a new knife to cut it, but I'm positive I could have been just as successful with a spoon, it was that tender. I ordered medium rare, and It was cooked to perfection. All in all, it was a great experience for us. Very comfortable atmosphere with great drinks, delicious food, and a friendly staff. We will definitely be returning for our next date night out.

The wait staff is young and inexperienced, the atmosphere is a little dated but I totally recommend coming for dinner! The food was amazing, fresh and good quality. EAT HERE!! Make reservations

Went here for graduation dinner back in 2002, so I have been going here for a while!
Love the appetizers and mains especially the crab cakes. Oysters, escargot, cheese plate, and ginger waldorf.
Gnocchi or filet for main are a must! Crème Brulee for desert that could serve 3 people because it is so rich.
I'll keep going until these folks retire.

They lost our 6:30 reservation for our anniversary dinner. I received reminders via text and email and confirmed we were coming both times. The service they use, Open Table, sent us a detailed confirmation with a confirmation number, but Pauline's does not have access to or does not care to deal with confirmation numbers.
We were able to get a table in the noisy entrance to the restaurant but our meal didn't come out until 8:00. The food was OK and the overworked waitress was nice but the overall experience was terrible. We won't be back and if another restaurant uses the unreliable Open Table we will call the restaurant directly.

This restaurant has been phenomenal every time I
go. Tonight was my friends birthday and our server Mitzie made it so special. She was attentive, friendly and aside from excellent service the food was again delicious. I'm so grateful to have this amazing restaurant in my area. I will of course go again very soon.

Ordered carry out at 6pm. The text said I I could pick my order up at 7pm so I got there right at 7 to get my food. The hostess walked by a few times and didn’t even greet me. I figured she was busy although the restaurant itself wasn’t crazy busy.
Finally after 7 minutes I said “excuse me I’m here to pick up a carry out order.” She said they are getting it ready right now. I waited until 7:31 for my food!!!!! I ordered a salad and tomato toast. Got in the car and the salad is tiny and it’s 3 pieces of little squares of bread. Definitely not worth what I paid and waited!! Very disappointed.

Went here twice. Both times the service and food were top notch. Great choice of gluten free meals too. Had a great time here.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Very expensive food wasn't anything to brag. We had to ask for thing's.

My partner and I ate at Pauline's, he had the burger & I had the beet salad, along with a cheese plate & the bananas foster! We also enjoyed some lovely cocktails (a honey & gin based one and a rye based one!) and a glass of wine while we ate. The service was impeccable, the food was EXTREMELY good with fresh ingredients and lovely flavors and presentation. The cheese selection was perfect, and I personally found the chicken soup with hen in the woods mushrooms the best chicken soup I've ever had! The burger was flavorful and balanced with mushrooms on top, and my beet salad was delightfully earthy and tangy, both of these with amazing goat cheese. The bananas foster was a fun and delicious topping to our night, and we hope to go back again!
I also appreciated that the restroom was all gender AND accessible (spacious and single stall, too!), I often have challenges as a nonbinary disabled person but this was really nice & kept me from feeling uncomfortable or alienated.
